Yummy Mummy bag - cleaning????

Hope someone can help with this....

I have a brown splodge on my cupcake & across the pocket. I can't find any info on the care instructions.
Has anyone had to clean their bag? If so any advice on do's or don'ts on what to clean it with?!?

Ill be stalking this as OH spilled coffee over mine and the sidepocket on one side is stained. So far I have only tried with a lil water but that didn't do much.

Whatever you do DON'T use too much liquid or submerge it... I did this in my pregnant state and all the pink lining bled! It looked so awful that I ended up buying another bag (both second hand from eBay but could've bought a new one instead!!).

Have you tried contacting them see what they say, I have been lucky so far mine is not looking too bad.

I will be doing this also.
I had heard about the pink lining bleeding so was reluctant to go straight in.

I have tried this but had no joy

I'm going out to buy my vanish bar tomorrow so I shall let you all know how I get on! Fingers crossed for me & AngelUK

Pink Lining emailed me back saying:
"We recommend a damp cloth when cleaning our bags.* Please be delicate with the cupcake and so not rub to hard as this is obviously a delicate material.
We do say that our bags should never be put in the washing machine or soaked."

I've not managed to find a vanish soap anywhere so yet to try it. When I do I'll let u know how it goes :/ x

Me neither! I thought I must be blind but maybe they are off the market? My bag is still coffee stained. I am not impressed with the reply you got from pink-lining I must say

I know it's not great is it really.
A damp cloth isn't going to do a fat lot of use to deep dirt or stains. And we can't even use elbow grease!!! Lol! I'm real scared to tackle it! I love my bag, I don't want to ruin it forever...... (slightly dramatic!) X

My DS spilt coffee on mine today and I'm talking a whole cup!!! Hrs knocked my coffee off the side tabkr and onto my bag. I've tried some fairy wash powder in warm water. Its an improvement but still not got the stains out.
