Any other ladies still taking Zofran even though we're in second tri?

I've have anxiety/panic attacks and a huge fear of throwing up in public/around anyone for that matter.

Anyway, I still find myself taking a Zofran if I'm going to be going out and about in public for a few hours like to run to the grocery store or other such errands. Is this bad? When my anxiety acts up in public settings I'll often feel nauseous, but on top of the indigestion I get at the moment it feels like the nausea kicks into hyper drive so I just take a Zofran before going out to prevent that. Is that wrong/weird?

I don't think it's wrong, as long as your doctor is ok with you taking it. I took Zofran up until 27 weeks with my twins, as I just couldn't shake the morning sickness. My doctor had no problem with it at all. If you need it, use it!

Thanks, I had a friend who took it all the way up until labor because she had such awful sickness. My midwife isn't too fond of it, but has told me as long as I'm taking it only when I really need it that it's alright. When I'm going to have a whole day away from home I eat more when I do take it because otherwise I get anxious followed by nauseous so I barely nibble while out.

I'm almost in my third trimester and still taking it. Took it half my pregnancy with my first and he's perfectly healthy :) my OB says its safe.

I'm still taking it! Just 1/2 a pill when I need it though. I have found that a half works great!

I hadn't thought of cutting it in half! Not sure why that hasn't crossed my mind lol. Maybe I should do that if I'm just taking it to be cautious before going out in public.

You poor thing, sickness and anxiety is tough. I'm still on cyclizine and promethasomething at 16 weeks. Iwwas on antisickness to 27 weeks with my first.

One without the other is manageable, but if I get anxious followed by sickness or the other way around I feel like I'm a train wreck.

I hope your combo of meds is helping, especially with your HG!

14 weeks. If someone tried to take away my zofran I'd flip out. I can't function with it, but without it, I think I'd likely be dead.

I'll handle the risks. But starving to death/placental abruption from vomiting seems to me to be much higher risk than the very small associated risk of cleft palate.
