Wow! thanks for this!!! this really is a bargain!!!!

OMG, bargain!!! Now, do I maybe buy it and get it sent to my folks place for them to bring over when LO is born as I know I won't need it before? That is too good a deal to pass on. But then, what if I don't get on with that one? Or with breastfeeding generally? It's so hard with so many choices out there!

The way I see it, if I dont get on with BF - it's only 20quid. If I do get on with BF - I will be expressing so hubby can help feed - so will have to fork out £80 somewhere along the line!

I've just ordered mine :) - bring signed off work is great to be able to have the time to find bargains...but it's very quickly making me skint lol.

I agree.

I've been putting off buying this (I have the bottles and steriliser cheap too - Boots have the steriliser for £20 at the mo ladies, £5 cheaper than Asda) on advice from a mum who said 'you might not get on with BF so don't spend out on a pump until you know', but as you say £20 is nothing and an absolute BARGAIN.

I'm off to Asda.

Arghh, i wish i wasn't skint at the mo as i would of got this, i got the manual one when the last event was on for £12.50 i think as i didn't wanna spend £80 on an electric incase breastfeeding doesn't work for me but i'd defo buy as £20 is nothing compared to £80. :(

That's a complete bargain!! May need to pay Asda a visit this weekend.

Even if you don't get on with BF, you might still be able to express anyway.

You might be right there. I was looking at spending more than this on a rental pump from the local health authority so in the greater scheme if BF and I don't get on, at least I will only have wasted 20 quid.
Must rmember to hijack OH's credit card when he gets in tonight and let Mum know there'll be a package arriving in my name she needs to cart over next year.
Next year... not really that long away now. Scarey!

Yup and a half months til 'next year'.. Gulp.

The times........they are a changin'................

No Way I was going to post this thread (great minds) I brought mine this morning:thumbup:, if you work full time like me, you can get it delivered to your local Asda and pick it up, they will text you when it has arrived there (how 21 centrury) I am over the moon about this deal, as i was dreading forking out £80 for a breast pump. I got quite a few things tomme tippee for £41 and will be collecting them next thursday! Well chuffed with my bargains! :happydance:

I had decided that even though I am going to try and BF I also want to express so that OH can give bottles and I can use breast milk in a bottle when out and about. After thinking about it I'd also decided that I wanted to get an electric pump rather than a manual one.

Now do I get this now or wait and see if there is another Asda baby event before March as I know they have them quite regularly? OH doesn't want me to buy much stuff before we have our 20 week scan just in case - hmmmmmm decisions decisions!

Very tough decision as we also agreed to wait until 20 week scan before we started to buy bits and pieces. Then I ordered the pram the night before the scan as it was too much of a bargain to pass on. :happydance: I say buy it.

^^^^^ Ditto. I think the cheapest they got last time was £40.

Thanks for the link!! Just went on there to buy the pump and ended up buying £53 worth of stuff...opps! :) xxx

i have just placed my order and it should arrive in store on the 21st.

I went on there last night to buy this, cos I thought "ah, you can't go wrong for £40 - it is half price after all" But after umming and ahhing - I couldnt part with £40. Went on this morning to umm and ahh again - and saw it was £20.

i ordered one.. cheers for the link.

£20's too good a bargain to miss out on :)

do you have to order it in to collect in store or do you think it will already be in the store because i might pop up when OH gets home from work!
