10 month old refusing milk...??

Hi, i posted this in baby club but thought it may be better here......
Basically oliver has been having 2 bottles, roughly 7oz morning and night since about 8 months, he slept through the night and had 3 square meals a day and seemed fine.
Now though he has started to pretty much refuse his feeds before bed, tonight for example he had his tea about 5 o'clock and then only had 1 1/2 oz at 8 o'clock. I am tearing my hair out with him as i don't know how to get the milk down him. I've been told by HV to increase his dairy intake during the day but that was when he was having his 7oz bottles.
I'm really at a loss as i don't know whether to just not bother with giving him one if he's not going to drink it??????
Sorry for the long rant, like i say, tearing my hair out!!!!

alex went through a stage of not having his milk, we changed to the follow on milk and he started drinking it again because it tastes different

we also used ready made because he wouldnt drink powdered milk
