100 Days...

IONA IS 100 DAYS OLD TODAY!!!

We're trying to go for the 'yay she's made it to 100 days' rather than the 'she's been in hospital for 100 days and no idea how long we'll be in for yet' so she's got a balloon and a cake lol. It's weird how what really is just another day seems such a huge milestone emotionally.

No we've no idea. She still can't maintain her temperature on her own at all and she's off to theatre again this afternoon to have a central line put in to start on TPN again plus they have various medical issues they are still trying to sort out. It's still 1 step forward 2 steps back with her.

hey it IS a big milestone! Congratulations little Iona! When my son turned 10 days, 42 days (6 week milestone heh) and 100 days we also had small celebrations with cake and all. I found it really helped us.

She's a wee star and so are you! 100 days is such a milestone and should be celebrated, i can only imagine how hard it must be for you all and i also keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Although the tunnel may be a bit longer i am sure there is light at the end of it, you just need to look really hard to see it. Keep us updated
