12+3 Consultant removed coil yesterday, little blood today :-(

Hi Girls
I am due this baby in January, I got pregnant on the copper coil!
Bit of a shock, but I think ive come to accept it now. I saw my consultant yesterday and he scanned me and baby was bouncing coil was low so he advised me to remove as theres a big risk of infection/mc if left in, after 2 mmc I didn't want to risk another.
He removed it easily enuf and remarked it was v low and not close to baby, he then gave me a vaginal scan to check for any after bleeding and baby was fine no bleed, he then wanted to do a abdomen scan just to b sure and baby was happily movin and again no bleed. I was happy leavin as im bk with him in 2 wks.
I went to the loo at lunchtime today n I wiped and found a little blood, im not sure wat to do? Shud I wait r shud I go bk and get scanned?
Sorry to be a pain but after all this worry I really don't want to lose this child.
Has anyone ever been in a similar position?

It doesn't hurt to call and ask his advice. It's probably just from the removal of the coil, but you want to ease your mind. Fingers crossed for you!

Sounds like it's just from the removal.
Remember, these things embed themselves in your uterus so when it's removed there's bound to be a little blood from the removal.

Call your doc though as i'm sure he'll be able to put your mind at ease much better than us non-professionals.
But I wouldn't be too worried Hun.

Hi girls.
Its stopped. Ive had no pain r cramping, so im thinkin its probably just removal.
He did say it wasn't fitted correctly n was obviously why I had fell pregnant and he thought it wudnt affect the baby, I just assume the worst with my history.

Yeah hun I had a cervical smear test two days ago before I found out and she said and she took the little swab brush thing out that she had made me bleed a little. So I'm not surprised the coil made you bleed! :]

Ive had no bleedin now in 24 hrs, im assuming all is well
Im bk to see him July 24th! I'm a terrible worrier, and assume the worst
Still checkin everytime I tinkle though
