Yes girlies its again me
I am now 11/12 days late for my AF. I tested today with FMU still got an ugly BFN. I am now quit convinced that I am not pregnant. But still a lil hope is there. I got some brown/pink spotting right when implantation bleeding is supposed to be. I never got any spotting like that so i was so hopeful.
I do not have much info about it so i want your help here.

1) Should I have blood work done now or should wait to miss my next period? Is this possible to get BFN on urine test and BFP on blood test?

2) If suppose i did not ovulate this cycle, will i get my periods on next cycle exactly on the expected date? Or it will come anytime?

3) Should I go to doc to take medicine to start my period? Will it be safe?

4) Can I still be hopeful keeping in mind that I had implantation spotting?

5) Anyone got or hear getting BFP that late ?

I am sooooo confused. Please do do do reply :cry:

1--i would make an appt with your doc if your that late to get a blood test done.

2--if you didnt ovulate you WONT get your period on the next expected date, it would prob just come when it wants,

3--i dont think your doc will give you anything to start your period if this is the first time this has happened.

4-- im not sure but i hope so!

5-- not sure

good luck though! hope i helped a little!! :hugs: :dust:

1) Should I have blood work done now or should wait to miss my next period? Is this possible to get BFN on urine test and BFP on blood test? Do you know for sure when you ovulated? If you do and you are still 12 days late for your period then I would call your doctor and get a blood test. If you don't know when you ovulated for sure, then it could be that you ovulated late.

2) If suppose i did not ovulate this cycle, will i get my periods on next cycle exactly on the expected date? Or it will come anytime? I'm not really sure what you mean by this question.

3) Should I go to doc to take medicine to start my period? Will it be safe? They suggest if you have no period for 60 days to see your doctor to get medicine to start your period.

4) Can I still be hopeful keeping in mind that I had implantation spotting? Implantation bleeding is very rare - but still mark it down on your chart (if you chart). You can be hopeful still because you aren't out until AF shows up.

5) Anyone got or hear getting BFP that late? Some women don't have enough of the hormone that allows for it to show up on a urine test. Sometimes a blood test might be the only way to tell.

But if you are this worried about your cycles - call the doctor either way and talk to them.
Good luck!

aww shucks hun :hugs:
I have since read your other posts and I know the witch evenutally arrived for you but I'll have a go at answering your questions below in case they are still relevant :flower:
1) Should I have blood work done now or should wait to miss my next period? Is this possible to get BFN on urine test and BFP on blood test?
What do you want the blood work to reveal? What is it that you want clarification on?

2) If suppose i did not ovulate this cycle, will i get my periods on next cycle exactly on the expected date? Or it will come anytime?
Why do you suppose you did not ovulate this cycle?
If your AF is late, you will get your next period from the usual time. ie if you get your AF every 30 days, it will be 30 days from when your period arrives.

3) Should I go to doc to take medicine to start my period? Will it be safe?
Unless you have very irregular periods, there is no need to do this.
In the past 9 months I have had three wayward cycles, 19, 35 and 41datys, my usual is 26 days.
I did not ovulate on the 19 days cycle.
I ovulated on the 35 day cycle.
I think I ovulated on the 41 day cycle.

When your cycle is longer than usual, it is ovualation itslef that is delayed not the period. Once you ovulate, your usual lueal phase remains.
ie: my usual luteal phase is 15 days.
and in a normal cycle I ovulate around CD10.
During the 35 days cycle, my usual ovulation time was disrupted, and I ovualted later than usual, on CD20, but my luteal phase remained the dam at 1bout 15 days.

4) Can I still be hopeful keeping in mind that I had implantation spotting?
You can always still be hopeful :hugs:
Your implantation bleeding could also have been AF thinking about arriving
and then coming a few days later.

5) Anyone got or hear getting BFP that late ?
Yes BFPs can come late.
But for me, the more days past ovualtion that go past, the less likely it is that I am pg, and more likely that AF is on her way, albeit later than usual.
[my OH and I live in different hemispheres and our last :sex: would have been on the day of, or day before ovulation.]
