12 days of Christmas?

Is there anyone else who is waiting til' (about) 12 days before Christmas to put up the tree?

Ryan's birthday is 11th December and will be Nemo themed - not sure how well that would have looked with xmas decs - so the tree will be going up on the 12th. I'll probably carry this on as a kind of tradition, unless he wants a tree up for his birthday in future. Mine is 3rd January so the tree will probably come down on the 2nd.

Until we had kids we put the tree up two weeks prior...once even the night of Christmas Eve. LOL

Since then, we do it a month early.

However, if I were in your shoes, I'd wait until after your son's bday too.

We will be putting our tree up on the 12th as well as the older kids are going to their nans for the weekend this week to help put up her tree so we will do ours the next weekend.
