Bubs is 12 days and is going longer than 4 hours without a bottle. I wake him to feed at 4 hours and even then only takes 2.5 oz. Think this is ok? I'm trying not to freak out. Health nurse says he's not gaining enough fast enough or eating enough. He eats when he's hungry and he's a happy and content baby, so I'm not sure there really is a problem.

Off to the dr today to reassess and see what they say. I'm praying everything is perfect and that he's just a dopy and small eater.

Omar was taking 2 oz every 3-4 hrs & was sleeping for 5 hrs at night with no feeds at 2 wks. He's not a big drinker since he was tiny. He went up frm the 50th percentile @ birth to 82nd at 2 mnths. Now he's a big baby at the 90th percentile for weight & length xx

Molly has always slept 10-6, we don't wake her to feed her. She sometimes feeds after 3 hours, sometimes after 5 hours..it did vary a lot at the beginning but now she feeds roughly 3-4 hours. She's gaining beautifully so we're continuing like this but if your LO isn't, I'd be asking the doctor what other causes could be considered.
