Hi, this is my first ever post so please be gentle with me! My husband and I have been ttc for only 4 months, but the whole thing is driving me crazy. I'm 33 and all I want is to start a family. I'm using pregnacare vitamins, fertility lubricant and the clearblue easy fertility monitor. The monitor said I ovulated on 1st/2nd march, so that makes me about 12dpo. This month I really felt preggers - a couple of days ago (around 10dpo) I had sore bbs around the outside, and my nipples looked kind of purple (tmi!) and I just had a good feeling. Today though it's all subsided. I tested first thing with a 10mIU Internet cheapie and it was negative. I am sitting at my desk now feeling desperately sad and alone. So, can anyone out there give me any hope or words of wisdom please?!

I totally feel for you hun I have been ttc for 12 months and some months it is so hard. I am 9 dpo today AF due Tuesday 21st. Resisted the urge to test but not sure how as I am desperate to this month. The last few months I have waited to test until the day AF is due. All I can say is it may still be early for you I have heard of lots of women not getting a positive until 14 or 15 dpo so you are still in with a chance. You have years ahead of you so you have time on your side. Most couples will conceive within a year so hopefully it's just a matter of time hun. Big hugs x

I'm also in my 4th month of TTC, and I can say that I've been feeling the same way. I wish that I'd had someone to tell me that this whole process was going to be so hard. My advice for you is that you need to keep looking toward your end goal: a baby. Sometimes just letting go of all the fears that you won't be successful (and man, I've had so many of those) is enough to get you through another day. Keep talking about it...find other women in real life that you can talk to...being here is simply a first step. Cry if you need to and don't let anyone tell you that it's wrong to do that. It's not bad to be mad at the world sometimes. I do hope that you get your BFP soon, and that we will be able to look back at this, and simply laugh because we finally got what we wanted the most!

Thanks ladies, that's so kind of you both. I feel like in being a bit melodramatic today - big sign that af is on its way! Never mind, I'm due Friday so as soon as that comes and goes I can get cracking again! Another question for you - I had a mirena coil for a few years and since I had it removed my periods have been really light - only a couple of days in total. I used to be quite heavy flow, so I don't know if this is a normal change for my age or if should see the doctor?

As long as you're having a period every month I wouldn't worry about the fact that it's lighter and shorter. Mine used to be quite a bit heavier and lasted for almost a full week when I was younger and now it's a moderately light flow and usually only lasts 3 days with spotting on cd4.

And being 12 dpo still gives you time to get a BFP, some women don't get it until after they miss their period. I'm 13 dpo and got a BFN yesterday, FX'd AF stays away for the both of us!

Thanks again ladies. I know being only 4 months down the line is really early still, and those of you who've been trying for a lot longer will be rolling their eyes and wishing it's only been 4 months for you too. So I really appreciate your words of encouragement and hope you've all been hit with the baby stick this time around! Hugs. Xx

It's all relative hun I remember at 4 months feeling so discouraged and upset it was taking so long, it sort of does get easier. I have been pregnant before 6 yrs ago and had a mc at 9 weeks and oh has a child so hopefully there are no issues and it will happen soon. The longer you are ttc the closer you are to that BFP hun :-)

I O'ed on Friday the 2nd, I'm right here with ya! Are you having any symptoms that are kind of out of the norm? I typically don't eat until after the noon hour and now I'm waking to being hungry, my cp is high and hasn't came down after O along with white creamy cm. Other than that, being so tired I want to die ; / Best of luck to you! Keep us posted!! I kept saying I was going to wait to test when AF is due (saturday) but I'm not so sure. I always stop my coffee addiction when I'm pregnant and feel guilty until I find out : ( as I don't just drink a cup or two, I live off of the coffee from 330a until close to midnight ; ( I've slowed down quite a bit the last week as the coffee is seeming to make me more tired. Keep us posted and best of luck girl!

Hey MDSM, I don't know about symptoms tbh, I think I could dream up a few just by thinking too hard. I feel queasy sometimes, but that could be due to things I've eaten or just the worry of it all. I did have tender bb's but that's gone now - although the amount I keep prodding them I think they're getting sore again just from that! I've been mega hungry for the last couple of days, and really tired, but I just don't know if I'm imagining things. AF isn't due until about Friday, and this evening I got an ache, like the beginning of af. When I went to the loo I had a very translucent pale brown / pink residue which I immediately thought was af. No more has appeared since though so I've spent the last few hours convincing myself that it might be implantation spotting. The ache has subsided now too, so I'm pinning my ever decreasing hopes on Friday - if no af by then I'll be happy. Although I've p'd on 6 sticks in the last 2 days, so goodness knows how many I'll have got through by then! I must stop! Let me know how you get on too lady. Fingers crossed for all of us. x

Yeah this weekend couldn't come soon enough!! My DH had to point out the fact that I haven't lost any weight since the 17th when I had my LMP, which is really odd for me, as I gain SO much while I'm pregnant and I've been steadily losing about 1/2lb a day to a lb a day since she was born ten months ago. Went through a dry spell and didn't lose any over Christmas month, but I blamed that on carbrohydrate intake :dohh:

All I know is if I get a negative, I have to kick my metabolism back into overdrive and start losing again. I'm 5'6 and currently 135 but I was SO close to my normal non-pregnant weight of 127 and now nothing. The fatigue can't be in my head as I'm just WORN out! I do wish I knew one way or another about cp & cm  My cp has yet to go down since O on the 2nd and AF is due in 4 days. My other pregnancies though my hcg levels were slow and I would miss AF and still get a :nope:BFN:nope: until about a week after :dohh:

Good luck! Def keep me posted :winkwink:

Totally feeling for you! I'm 13dpo today, AF late by 1-2 days, with nothing but bfn morning after morning. Here's to not losing hope!!

12 dpo today :)

right behind ya :dust:

ttc for 5-6 months, NTNP for over 1 year before that.

I just give up being angry at dh everytime af shows lol.
we got our fertility checks done 6 months ago and we are both in the clear.

I was pregnant but i lost it at 11 weeks oct 2009

So frustrating though.. Seems like everyone else around me can get pregnant so fast and so easy it made me so depressed,

I found BnB 4 months ago, and you ladies are so wonderful on here and very supportive and comforting and know exactly how im feeling and know what I am going through. I just take it month by month now, not getting really depressed any more, just have fun and wait, wait, wait for a lovely bfp :) and as the time goes by I chat with all you ladies and feel that we're all in this together and I dont feel alone any more.

XOX

So af due Friday (or possibly late Thursday) and no more spotting since yesterday evening. A little lower back ache today and some fluttery sensations to the lower abdomen, on the left and the right alternately. What does this mean? I've never had early spotting before but this was very very pale...like the colour of browny/pink tinted lip balm as opposed to, erm, nasty gunk!

AF due Friday for me too and this morning I have had the same type of spotting as you and lower back ache, here's hoping its a BFP for us both and not the witch on her way!

Hello!

I am very new to this..

So here's my dilemma.... Me and DH have been trying for well over 6 months...no luck.

My last IUI's were March 4&5th. I triggered 10,000 pregnyl on March 2nd.

So, being soooo eager, I tested on frer Sunday March 11th (9 days post trigger) and there wasn't a line . I waited the requisite 3 minutes and still no line . Last month i tested 9 days post trigger using novarel and it was totally out of my system.

Decided to test again on Tuesday March 13th again with frer and there was a faint line (you could barely see it) I made DH look without his glasses and he saw the faint line. Looked again this morning and its still there.

I fished my first test @ 9 days post trigger out of the trash (sorry...tmi) and there was a faint line... Did I miss it on Sunday or is it the evaporating line or something????

My other question is, can this still be the hcg trigger or is it really a ???

I have absolutely no symptoms at all besides absolutely sleepy all the time!

Any advice for me???? I'd really appreciate some insight.

Hey girls I'm currently 12dpo and it's my 4th month of trying too. I throwing the baby dust in the air for us this month! Keep me updated on your journeys' girls.

Like the other ladies said, some women don't show a BFP until after a missed period. You could of implanted later (Implantation6-12days from conception)

I've had a few symptoms but the main 2 have been stitch today alternating from each side :( and that's just on and off during my day. And my second is tiredness. But I'm scared that these things are just my mind playing tricks on me. I swear I think I am every month then I go round again lol.

I know it's only 4 months of TTC but it feels a lot longer lol and I wanted a baby for about a year before that just had to wait to get my circumstances in the best possible position for a baby. I'm just an impatient princess hahaha!

Girls if it's not our month we will just shake ourselves off and try again ::) x x x

Hi Marchbaby12. I'm sorry, I'm new to this and have been going it alone so far, so I'm afraid I've got no idea. I just didn't want to read your message then not reply. I hope you find the answers you're looking for soon. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed its a BFP for you! Hugs.

Ok ladies, that's me out for the month, af came a whole day early. That means my cycle was only 26 days as opposed to my usual 31, with ov being 11/12 instead of usual 16ish. What does my body think its playing at?! Well, good luck to you who are still in the running and I'll be starting again soon!
