Hello ladies! I'm new to this forum but have been reading the posts every night so I figured it's probably time to join and just start asking questions...
I'm kind of at a loss/think I'm going nuts so I'd love to hear your thoughts...
DH and I have been TTC for a few months now... this was the first month that I really paid attention to my CM to try and pinpoint my most fertile day. Next month, if this one didn't take, I'll start charting temps.
So, here's a breakdown of my month. I've been on a 30-31 day cycle for the past 3 months but have been known to go as far as 36 days if I'm traveling or extra stressed.
CD 1-5 AF
CD 18-19 Stetchy CM but only about an inch (BD both nights)
CD 20-21 EWCM and terrible cramps (I've never cramped during ovulation before so I thought "maybe it's a sign that this is going to be the month!" (BD both nights).
Assuming I ovulated on CD 21 (I read that the cramps usually come the day of ovulation- Please tell me if this is wrong!)...
CD 27/DPO 6 Terrible cramps. I never get cramps before AF, just the day of. That's usually what wakes me up in the middle of the night to let me know it's time to take some tylenol and grab a tampon.
CD 28-30/ DPO 7-9 Mild Cramps. BFN.
CD 31/DPO 10 AF Due, but doesn't show. Unbearable cramps/Bloating but not like the last ones. They are all over my stomach, not just in ovaries area. BFN.
CD 32/DPO 11 AF 1 day late, Go to walk in clinic because I still have mild cramping... she says it's gastritis. Never had that before but I take some tums and go to sleep at 8pm. BFN.
CD 33/DPO 12 AF 2 days late, Wake up at 5am like I have every morning this past week... very mild cramps. BFN.
So, I think I ovulated later than usual this month which could be why AF is late. I wish I had been tracking it prior to this month because then I'd know! Maybe I'm crazy in thinking I still have a shot at being pregnant but since my poor husband just can't keep up with me once I start talking about what day I'm at vs what day I would normally be at, I thought that maybe I'd feel better if I just typed it all out and put it out there for others to give an opinion on. Am I nuts? Should I just assume AF is a little late and these morning tests are telling me the truth? I've read so many posts where women tested positive on 8th DPO so it's such a bummer that today is 12 DPO and it's still negative.
On a side note, I think I'm going to stop testing until Thurs. That would be 14DPO and if AF still doesn't show.
Phew. That seemed like a lot... but I feel better just getting it out. ANY insight would be so appreciated.
