12wk 6d scan

Had scan today. We asked Dr to guess on gender. He told us he thought he saw a penis. And he said he's 90% sure its a boy...
I didnt think they could be that sure this early! !
Anyone find out this early ?

Yes actually. With my youngest ds the tech said we were having a boy at 13 weeks and sure enough she was right. Congrats on your baby boy. Did you happen to get a pic of it?

I didnt get a pic of the 'part' and my ultrasound pics are kind of dark so I dont think I wi upload any.
I was shocked that he could be 90% sure this early?! Crazy!

I didnt have a preference. I kind of had a feeling it was a girl though. Maybe cause I have 2 girls. Do you think he would say 90% if he wasnt that certain?

No I really don't. He must have seen something between the legs. I am actually wondering the same right now about my tech and the scan lol

I had an elective US done at 13 weeks and the tech said she was 85% sure we were having a girl because there was absolutely nothing between the legs and we got a bunch of good shots.

I really wouldn't bank on it! When I had my can she said many consultants have guessed genders to early and got it wrong male and female parts are ao similar at 12 weeks im not saying there wrong but don't think its 100% just yet wait for your 20 wk

If I had to make a guess, based on what I saw today and what I see in your photos, I'd say girl.
I am a little hesistant to feel confident in it being a boy. I mean in a way I feel like, the doctor wouldnt say 90% if he wasnt confident. The again he did say "dont hold it against me if im wrong" and "dont buy anything just yet"

I wish I could see a photo! He could very well be wrong though but 90% is a lot and he must have seen something there. With my ds there was no mistaking it at 13 weeks that he was all boy. If you like I can post a pic of him for you.

I'm due March 14th as well! But haven't had an u/s since 6 +3 days and won't have another till 16+ weeks, no clue on even a pic to guess right now :/
