13 dpo of bfn but still a bfp in the end??

Hi ladies,

I have popped over from the TWW forum again for some words of encouragement...

I am 13 dpo and too scared to test, I dont want to get a BFN and then feel like I have no hope left.

Did any of you lucky lovely ladies get a BFN at 13 dpo and still get a BFP in the end??

I am 5 days late, no symptoms and I just want to see a BFP

I had a very faint line at 13 dpo, I could only see it if I held it to the light. Then really dark bfp at 14 dpo. Good luck

I dont know what to do really, DH is so excited, I don’t want to dash his hopes…again. Do you think I would be better off waiting?

give it a go....if it wasn't for me knowing i was late, i would never of known i was pregnant, i had zero symptoms

How are you 5 days late and 13dpo? Is your lp normally only 8 days? If it is, you might want to get that checked out.

Otherwise, at 13dpo you should have a fairly accurate result on an FRER or Superdrug test. Why torture yourself? Test!

Oh yeah...should have mentioned that. I have a very short LP so I this is the first month trying to lengthen it with B6 and B12. I guess in my heart I know it’s just my LP lengthening, just hoping for something more I suppose

thanks hon, I think I will get some FRER tonight and maybe try with FMU on wed…that would be me a week late. I am so scared. I just know the witch will show.

On the plus side though, getting my LP to this length is amazing, I am so chuffed with that!

I pray that one day I will be joining you ladies on this forum. Wishing you all a happy healthy pregnancy

I got BFN 13 dpo and a faint BFP 15 dpo, so there is still hope!

Your lp lengthening is a really good step. If you have a bfn then at least you know the vits are working! Now go and get yourself a sensitive test (FRER or Superdrug) and put yourself out of your wondering misery.

thanks hon, I will pick some up at lunchtime. I guess seeing a BFN is hardly gonna be a shock after seeing so many and who knows...maybe I'll get lucky.

I didn't get a "proper" bfp till I was like 14dpo. I had tested at 11 and 12 dpo. At 11dpo it was negative, 12 it was negative, I tested again at 13dpo from what I remember and it was very very faint. Don't give up hope I honestly didn't think i was pregnant, and look at me now.. 6w4d along Good luck!

I was the same. Tested at 13DPO (day before missed period) on early response test and nothing! Waiting til 17DPO and got a BFP (Still quite a faint line) So its possible!!! xx

I got my BFP at 16 DPO after BFN's on 10 and 13 DPO. Good luck x

Quick update:

I did a FRER with FMU and it couldn’t have been anymore of a BFN if it had tried. Pretty sure the blank white side was whiter even after I peed on it. I am totally gutted. I don’t know what’s going on with me. I have never been late. I have no symptoms at all, no AF, no pg, no nothing. Thanks for all your words of encouragement. I think I will quit POAS for a while. If I have no af by next wed (2 wks late) I will go to the doc. After this month though I think I need to quit ttc, I can’t believe my body is being so cruel.
