14 months TTC

wondered if anyone could help me. I had 2 miscarriages at the age of 18 within a few months apart... since then ive been on no contraception, and im now 20 years of age.
all my already pregnant friends have told me to go the doctors and see if they can help or give me advie...but i dont want to seem like one of these young girls just trying to get pregnant because there broody or its the trend.
it was accidental getting pregnant to start with, but after planning to keep the baby and telling my family and friends, losing it was unbearable. i shortly tried again after and caught. but lost that too.
now id give anything to be pregnant again. but with no hope.
what do i do? x whats the next step? x

I'm also 20 and been trying to concieve for 14 month
We're currently booking doctors appointments to get some tests done.

If you and your other half are at the same practice you should book a double appointment.

Hi Sharmanie,
I definitely think that you should let the doctor know your concerns and refer you for some tests. There are lots of responsible mothers in their 20s so I think you are just being over conscious about what the doctors may think.

It is best to get tests done rather then worry yourself sick second guessing what is going on with your body.

Hi, just been to doctors today, arranged to have bloods and sperm check. I feel so relieved now like everything is looking up just from that one visit, just to know there doing something. I am 21 and my doctor was brilliant. I would not let age bother you, your prob find ur be worryig more about age than the gp. Get the ball rolling

MAYBEE 2010: Hope this is ur month! if not look forward to chattin to u on here anyway. im on cd14 now. apparently the most fertile month! but my opk is negative. feel bad for the OH cuz wen my ovualtion tests cum bk negative, i dont wanna have sex with him! feel so bad for him but i cant help it!
Im like that EVERY MONTH i spend a fortune on getting those 4 day early tests! that ALWAYS cum up negative and then i cum on a few days after. so gutting. hope u dont cum on tommorow. fingers crossed 4 u chick x

THANKS! had abit of a knock back today at work. I was complaining to a "work mate" that i felt sicky...and she asked if i was pregnant. i said dont say that, cuz ive been trying for 14 months since my miscariages.
Anyone would have thought id shot her dog! the look she gave me! "your too young! tell ur mom ur trying for a baby and see what she thinks!"
had a right mind to rip out HER ovaries!

Hey I'm 22 and have been ttc for just under 2 yrs now and just started going to the dr about it and i wish i would have went sooner. Age is just a number anyway!
