i had a pelvic ultrasound done on the 9th of october.
i have the results with me, from my doctor.
It says that a 15 mm mildly hypoechoic area in the left ovary is noted and that it could be a corpus luteum.
my doctor said that it means i may have ovulated, but he didn't say much about it... if you ladies have any advice about the corpus luteum and if a 15 mm corpus luteum is safe/ normal to have... please comment bkoz my doctor didnt say much about it! thanks!!

Its normal, the corpus luteum is where the egg grew in your ovary and its whats left behind after the egg bursts from the follicle ( ovulation) . It produces progesterone during the luteal phase and if the egg was not fertilized it usually just disappears on it's own (it usually takes about 10 -14 days) then AF will start.

If the egg was fertilized Human chorionic gonadotropin signals the corpus luteum to continue producing progesterone, maintaining the thick lining (endometrium) of the uterus, the placenta eventually takes over progesterone production and the corpus luteum degrades.
