15DPO: faint positives on amazon cheapies, negatives on other *UPDATE: I'm pregnant!*

So... I'm 15DPO and have been getting faint positives on the cheapies off the internet the last three days, then when I test with a different test I get negatives. My cycle hasn't become regular yet since I stopped breastfeeding my first LO, so not sure when AF is even due, but my cycles have been around 35 days since then. With my first I didn't get a BFP till two days after my AF was due.

The photo is of a test from this morning, and has been taken at 6 mins (it says not to read results after 10 mins) -and it actually looks more faint on the photo than it did in real life.

It's just so disheartening seeing both positives and negatives -I'm not allowing myself to get excited yet, but I just want a positive on a different test or for AF to come to put me out of my misery!

That definitely looks like a BFP to me! What other tests have you used? Have you tried a FRER?

Hey... No, I'm not in the UK atm. and can't get a FRER where I am. That is, however, what I used with my first, and I got a BFP on that same day as I got a result like this on the cheapie... Siiigh...

Thanks for your reply though, it looks like a positive to me too, I'm just trying not to get excited till I see it on multiple tests (yes, I'm that crazy!)

Try not to worry Hun, I got BFP on IC for days before I got a clear BFP on anything else. It totally broke my heart seeing no line appear, but some IC are just really sensitive, and that kept me positive.
I'm sure you'll get a nice thick line with a pharmacy brand in a few days!

Nina83, I was thinking maybe it's just that it's more sensitive than the other tests, or that I didn't use the first morning urine with them, but

Jcliff; I've just ordered a clearblue as that can get here by tomorrow (no FRERs here sadly), then I think I'll test the morning after that and hope for the best (I'm still a little scared it'll turn out neg. though!)

Clear blues can be tricky as well.
And don't forget that it does take 48 hours to double!

Can you get bloods taken? That would be best.

i know what you mean by disheartening. on th eday of my period i got a faint line on a cheapie. it had everyone else on here convinced it was a BFP but i have had nothing since. even on the same brand test, on other cheap tests and on FRER. im now 4-5 days late and still nothing. we weren't even trying as im still on the pill, up until now i have been like clock work so thats the reason behind testing to begin with, after that first test i actually got my hopes up, but nothing but BFN's since.

i know, even though i have given up on the thought of being pregnant i do keep thinking 'but my period hasn't started, perhaps i should test again...oh no i best wait a couple more days as knowing my luck it will start tomorrow' i have that thought every single day when i wake up and AF hasn't started! (i normally start whilst im sleeping)

They look like the ones I'm getting the same lines on and they are Promartis, negative on everything else Good Luck though

Oh no! Yes they're called ProMatris!! So there goes any hope for a BFP then That sucks. I'm going to make a complaint when AF arrives, as I have been following the instructions 100% and the line has shown at 2-3 minutes in light pink.... Now I'm getting angry with these Promatris people....

Those ProMantis tests are shocking! I've seen lots of ladies on here go through the same thing with those tests
