17 day old - fed loads yesterday but is sleeping loads today - normal?

Hi I'm a worrying ftm - my littleboy fed loads yesterday and the day before (fed for over 4.5 hours yesterday) but today is so far feeding much less And sleeping lots - is this normal? Plenty of wet andddirty nappies still.

That's normal newborns cluster feed at times and sometimes if your lucky will sleep loads afterward. As long as he's making wet diapers and gaining weight well just let him sleep they need sleep he'll make up for it when he wakes. I'd suggest getting a nap in case he wakes and wants to eat for hours again.

Yup perfect.

They fill up loads to store energy to use to grow.

And you grow in your sleep.

So you often notice cluster feeding days followed by sleepy ones.

I bet you'll notice a big size/weight gain soon.
