18 weeks - Pulling/Cramping around belly button?

I will be 18 weeks this Thursday.

I've been experiencing weird tugging/stretching/twinges feelings around the belly button area. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I'm 18 weeks today and I've been having something similar, it like there's a hook at or just above my belly button and it's being gently tugged on! is that what yours is like? for the last couple of weeks when I finish doing a pee there's a tug in the same place, it's so weird!

Totally normal, it's your uterus moving up. I had it all throughout first trimester in the pelvic region then it started again around 18 weeks at the belly button. That's about where the uterus should be moving up to that week.

It's called round ligament pain. The ligaments stretch as your uterus enlarges and causes that pulling sensation. It can be mild, annoying, uncomfortable, or very painful. It is a normal part of pregnancy and you will continue to feel it off and on throughout your pregnancy.

Most commonly it is felt on your sides (and most commonly the right side) and in your groin area but it can be felt almost anywhere in your abdomen. Round ligaments attach from the front of your uterus all the way to your groin/pelvic region. It's nerves that report pain and surrounding nerve systems can also be associated regions of pain. A typical example of this is getting frontal lobe headaches and nasal passage pain when wisdom teeth are moving.
