19 day mc. Help?!

So my cycle before last was only 21 days with no hint of ovulation and this one only 19 days. What can I do? I was told the doctor will only help after a year of trying

Are you taking OPKs to know you're not ovulating? You can ask a different doctor. Mine put me on Clomid a month after he started seeing me (because I ovulate too late in my cycle). Making you wait a whole year seems pretty harsh.

I didn't do them religiously but the ones I did do were all negative. My temps are all over the shop and I don't get EWCM. I'm convinced I don't ovulate. How does the doctor test for ovulation? x
