Hi gals. Is anyone else (or has anyone else) experienced lower abdomen cramping? Almost like PMS...

Thanks!

Bert

I get this quite often, and i have been told it is ligaments stretching.
If it doesn't ware off or if your bleeding or anything call your midwife.
But don't worry!
:flower:

i have had this abit hun as was said in the other post if you start to bleed then ring your MW but other than that try not to worry x

**puts hand up** me too, i been getting this on and off all week. When i asked MW she said it was normal x

Phew! I was pretty worried. The cramping is low and across my whole abdomen. Almost as low as my previous c-section scar.

Thankfully the Bean is still kicking me like crazy so I know he's okay. :)

Thanks!

I get this too at times and I was also told it was ligaments stretching. Try not to worry to much.xx

I had this last Sunday - it felt like bad PMS cramp in a band right across my whole tummy just below my belly button....I never had anything as bad (it lasted all evening) with my first pregnancy although I did get cramping off and on which I assumed were my ligaments stretching...

It had gone Monday morning but I hummed and hayed about phoning the midwife and decided to mention it at my check up next week (unless it happens again before then). It just felt a bit more than stretching ligaments.....

yep me too!! like everyone else said its very common so dont worry
x

I had loads of cramping from the day I got my BFP until around 20 weeks. MW just kept telling me it was ligament pains and I guess she was right as my LO is still growing strong! I would have recommended a hot water bottle but the weather is a bit hot at the moment. You could try a luke warm bath instead.
