1st IVF consultation

Goin my first group information evenin and our individul one very soon.
Just wonderin if things goes quickly after this in regard to actually startin with the down reggin etc...?!
Got our information pack and that mentions years of waitin but I thought
that it would all start happenin once we went to our 1st IVF consulations.

Hi Avenna,

It all depends on if you are going private or NHS.

I am a Brit but live in the Middle East and we decided to take the IVF route in September. I am going private ansd selected my doctor in London after loads of research and had my first consult with him on 21st Sep. From that appt and tests run the following day it was decided I needed a small op to remove a polyp which was done on the 4th Oct. I am now about to start my DR on 31st of this month and then fly to London to start stimulation injections on 9th Nov. All very quick in my case but this was my decision, I wanted to start asap after we had made the decision for this treatment path.
