1st PRENATAL APPOINTMENT!!

Ok so I had my FIRST Dr.'s appointment yesterday and my Dr. is soo great!! Shes a woman and she answered all my questions... and she told me I'm exactly 5 weeks..and then went on to do a full examination.

THEN I was done... and my next appointment is Oct. 9th (in 2 weeks) when I GET MY FIRST INTERNAL ULTRASOUND!!!! I cannot WAIT!!!!! That's my first picture of the little miracle!!


Oh and by the way.. let me know if this is true... my cousin told me that someone told her that you take the AGE you CONCEIVED and then your DUE DATE and add them together..

For example.. I'm 22 and pregnant... and Im due in May (Month #5) 22+5= 27
which is an odd number.... if its ODD... its a BOY.. if its EVEN.. its a GIRL..

Is this theory correct for anyone??

That is so exciting. I am 5 weeks and 1 day today. My first prenatal appointment isnt until oct 16th. Hopefully I will have pics of the little man then. Yes "little man". I have my hopes set on a boy,

Im due in May too! Just scheduled my first prenatal for Oct 15, but its just a nurse visit...Im eager to find out how far along I am...according to my calcs, it's 8 weeks, but I'm starting to pouch quite a bit..

With my second I was 23yrs ( when Pregnant) and he was born in June, so 23+6= 29 and I had another BOY
With my last I was 25yrs ( when pregnant) and he was born in July, so 25+7= 32 and I had another BOY.

So in my case that theory didn't work.

I have my first offical midwife appointment on Thursday and I am looking forward to it. I am looking forward to my first ultrasound where I can see the baby!!!

Well babe there is a 50 / 50 chance of you having a girl, but I don't think it will be based on the number theory.

I never even thought about what sex I want the baby to be till today. When I was getting my wonderful blood work done the lab tech asked me "So do you want a baby boy or girl." I had never really thought about it because I was caught up in the whole being pregnant thing.

Hehe it was the same for me, I've been too busy being caught up too, to really decide if I prefer one sex over another. My parents and DH have their own preferences, but for now I think I'm still in la-la land.

Oh my gosh, I'm definitely going to find out. It isn't that it matters, it's just that I'm terrible with surprises! It would just eat at me until I broke down and found out, hehe. You girls are lucky if you can wait I just don't have the will-power! lol
