Hey :)

Really needing some advice, so ill give abit of back ground..
Ive got a little boy who will be 2 in just over a weeks time. When i had my little boy I was only 16, he was back to back and we had alot of complications which resulted in an emergency section.
Around the time i turned 18 i found out i had PCOS and was told due to alot of other problems i were having the chances of me being able to conceive again were next to nothing, and if i did the chances of making it to full term would be extremely unlikely..
Well about 3 weeks later i found out i was pregnant with my baby girl, thankfully she made it here safe and healthy but also came via c-section because they though my previous scar was going to rupture. My little girl is now just over 1month.. But ill be turning 19 in may, me and my partner dont plan on anymore children, but if in time we did and we managed to conceive again what would happen? Would i have to have an elective c-section? What would happen with the scar?

Just need some reassurance that if we do change are minds that its going to be okay

thanks girls, positive stories would be muchly appreciated :flower:

I just gave birth to my 4th and it was my 4th c-section. I had one in 2006, 2007, 2013 & 2014. I didn't have any problems and the doctor/nurses were amazed that I didn't have any scar tissue at all.

You will most likely have an elective again, and your scar will be fine.

Thanks. Holding on to hope.

Ive to go have a scan next week for quite a large lump in my stomach that they think is scar tissue or blood but there unsure yet if it is scar tissue could that affect having another section?

My third section will be early this Summer. My uterus is in good condition. My High risk OB is not concerned at this time about having a third.

I'll be having my 4th in July .. my consultant is happy with everything and has no concerns about it x

This has made me feel so much better! Been in such a panic. Im not too fussed about more babies but i just dont want to be told no more if yous understand what i mean :)

My surgeon told me he's done 8 on one mom lol. I just had my 2nd and he just said that another v-bac attempt is probably not the way to go if I decide for a 3rd. So elective section is what I will do if I have another baby :)

When all stays good I will be having my 4th in october.

My first c-section was unplanned, the other 2 were planned.

I thought after 3 kids, a 4th pregnancy would be a no-go because of the c-section.
Then I found there were more people who had 4 c-sections, so I consulted my gyn.
He said to be sure I had to have a special ultrasound to see if my uterus could handle one more pregnancy and there he saw no problem.

Now I'm pregnant with baby nr 4.

Had my 3rd section last August. I had no complications, and was told I could have more if I wanted. :)
1st section was emergency, next 2 sections were planned.

I'm due my 3rd in September, so far no issues or major concerns x

I am having my 3rd C section May 27th, i have been told that this would be my last one as i lost half my blood last time and had to have 2 transfusions so have booked in to be sterilised at the same time :)
