Hi guys...

I'm just looking for your advice on something which I'm really not sure how to go about..

My daughter stays at my ex partners mothers house and I went to pick her up from there on Saturday and noticed outside the next doors house there were 2 dogs playing in the garden which I didn't feel very comfortable that faye was close to ..they were playing in the next doors front garden and there is a small fence which divides the garden but its not too high I would say.

Anyways I just feel dead funny about this as the 2 dogs looked like staffys ofpr a breed of that sort but the dogs were slightly bigger than staffys but looked the same as 1

I'm just a protective father and I feel really sick about all this as I really don't want my daughter left unattended if they are outside at the same time and I just dont want her to be anywhere near them

The problem is ...my and my ex partner don't get on too well and I really don't want her thinking I'm getting at her if I. End up saying something

I know this sounds silly I just want abit help with what to say..I just don't want any tradgidys happening becouse all she needs to do is have some food out there and these types f dogs cud do anything

I don't think it would do any harm to maybe mention it to your ex's Mother or your ex and then at least you have made them aware. Sometimes just bringing something like that to their attention might make them more vigilant and just as a precaution, they will not let your child play near the dogs, alone etc.

You are her Father, you have a right to be concerned and that's all you are doing is showing concern. Just let them know that these types of dogs ( if reared wrong) can be aggressive.
