I'm really thinking the worst, I had some spotting at 5 weeks and had a scan which showed twins, right size and everything and cervix closed- really happy!!
Another scan was booked in for two weeks later, -another 5 days away, but the spotting hasn't stopped, its almost daily, brown colour mostly when i wipe- three times bright red, but no cramping or anything. Dr said I just have to wait. I don't really feel pregnant, just lost my apitite a little and hugely emotional, but this mostly because Im so worried?

I'm sorry you are going though this worry :hugs:

My friend recently had twins and she had lots of spotting/bleeding in the first tri. She ended up having loads of scans, eachtime showing two healthy babies. I hope it's the same for you hun. The fact that you haven't had cramping is a positive thing. Also remember not everyone has symptoms also they all peak at different times.

Please let us know how it goes, I'm keeping everything crossed for you :hugs:

If you're really worried speak to your EPU yourself - they may take self referrals - mine do.
Good luck hun.

I have been having the same thing too. I have another scan for Monday and my bleeding/spotting came right after my first scan. Sometimes it's brown and sometimes it's red. I am very scared too. They didn't tell me twins though. I did see a sac which is normal for my timing which was not quite 5 weeks. I hope all goes well with you and I will keep you in my prayers. Please keep us posted! Good luck! :hugs:

Dark brown blood is old blood, so I wouldn't worry too much. I've been spotting through my whole pregnancy too. My mum spotted all through her pregnancy with me, i'm hoping it stops soon though coz it's annoying!

Really sorry to read of your worries :hugs:

Like snowball said, its good that you are not getting and bad cramps.

Im only pg with the 1 but i had a light bleed at around 7 wks then about a wk of brown spotting, like yourself. But i was not in any pain and just rested till it stopped.

Try to keep you chin up and stay positive im sure all is fine with your lo's.

Congrats btw on your twins, what a blessing :happydance:

btw how many wks pg are you?

Congratulations on twins :) Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy. :hugs:
