My son just turned two a month ago and is talking up a storm. However some of his words he says the second syllabul first and the first syllabul last. Like for magic he will say gimac, or blanket he says kelbet, or his name Bradley he says abbae. Do you think this is normal? He doesn't do this with all words, just some

My sisters as toddlers would say kabutters for peanut butter crackers and other such funny speech things. I think if he's mixing up sounds in just a few words, it's fine. Pasketti, for example, is a really common one with kids. For the longest time, Violet said Ingin Turtles instead of Ninja Turtles. I'm sure it will fade on its own in time.

Think it's normal :) DD was always saying "causey-bizz" instead of "because" when she first started talking. I thought it was so cute and I was slightly disappointed when she got it straightened out :haha:

My (nearly) 4yo still does this but with whole words rather than just the syllables eg wash mouth instead of mouth wash

He never stops talking so it didn't cause him any problems, he also struggles occasionally getting words out as his brain is going faster than his mouth!
