but I am absolutely stuck this year for Chase.

Seriously, even though I went through all his toys around his birthday and gave loads away, and I didn't buy any for his bday except the car and MIL and my best friend bought him a ride on toy, he has a stack that he barely plays with.

Nevermind the fact that Jayden's old toys will and have come in use such as a ton of cars and an Imaginarium train table that cost a fair bit of money and Jayden barely played with.

Chase really has everything he needs.

The only thing he really will be needing is clothes at that time.

get him wat he needs hun rather than a load of toys because its christmas. get him a couple of cars or something to play but get wat he nneds. x

i agree, its a bit silly buying toys for the sake of it, maybe get him some dressing up outfits and props, great for imaginary play! also how about getting him some books? i have a few young children i will be buying for this year and instead of getting them yet more toys i am going to get them classic childrens books, such as the beatrix potter collection, the wind in the willows etc. maybe you could get a story sack? just a few ideas? x

I tend to buy Elyse a mix of needs and wants, at her age (she'll be only a few months shy of 2 by Christmas) she is more excited to open presents than what's inside of them, so I'm going to probably wrap her storage for her playroom too She won't know the difference..

i would just get him what he needs. Im pretty much the same this year for charlie, his birthday is at the beginning of november, so not too long before xmas and he has everything, all callums old toys are still in really good nick so theres not much he needs other than clothes, which is all he seems to be getting lol.x
