Completed 2 years of nursing with my little boy's birthday yesterday.

Through cracked nipples, blocked ducts, tongue and lip ties, miserable sleepless nights , teething etc- did manage to give my little man the best start in life. He is a happy, talkative , healthy and energetic little guy -full of life and laughter. Couldnt have asked for more!
after going through this whole ' I want to wean' phase around 18 months, I am more in the ' he will self wean one day' mode...I see him cut his nursing sessions in duration and want story time more at night. He rarely wakes up except early mornings and even then wants to nurse less and less. Maybe it is slow weaning, but am relaxed enough now to not want to push him and let him come to his own end.
