Hi Ladies -

Just wanted to see how much people have gained half way through their pregnancy. I have been eating crappy lately which I know isn't good but I just can't help it :nope:

So how much have you gained roughly at the midway mark?

I've gained about 101b too. I was really healthy up until last week, but now I can't stop eating crap too!!. x
 
I haven't reached 20 weeks yet but at my 16 week appointment I had gained 1lb.
 
I'm not quite there yet. But I gained 5 or 6 in first tri alone, then another several. So by week 16, I had gained 10. Now my weight has stayed the same for two weeks. I guess it caught up, lol. ^^ Hopefully.
 
I had a hard time putting on weight in the first tri because I was sick all the time. But I am 20 weeks this week and have now gained about 10 pounds as well. I started off slightly overweight so ideally I am only supposed to gain 15-25 total during my entire pregnancy, so hopefully I can stick to 25 pounds because clearly I am not going to be able to keep it at 15 pounds. Eek!
 
Thanks ladies. I feel like 10lbs is good for this far along but then I hear about the weight gain that comes in the 3rd tri! I really only have about 15-20lbs for the next 20 weeks which I hear packs on fast as the baby starts really putting it on.

I just need to eat better to hopefully slow it down. I just love fatty food lately and eating oatmeal for breakfast and a salad for lunch does nothing for me - lol!
 
I'm 19 weeks and have gained exactly 10lbs. Feels like a lot but my midwife and doctor have both said that's fine as long as I am eating healthy (cough cough!!!!) and taking gentle exercise(again cough!) I was told on Saturday that I am all bump but really don't feel it. I'm trying to let it worry me too much but not get too out of hand either…..
 
I am 21 weeks and gained ten pounds so far. I was underweight though when I first got pregnant by about about ten or fifteen pounds so not too worried about the weight gain. I expect probably another 20 pounds by my due date.
 
I'm a strong believer your body will do what it wants. I eat pretty well, have my bad days and work out at the gym almost every day. I've gained about 8-10lbs depending on the day (retaining water bad!). But the weeks I haven't been able to go to the gym and haven't eaten as well compared to the great ones, I've gained about the same. Try to make good choices but I wouldn't stress about it.
 
I'm 16 weeks and have lost about 10lbs (due to terrible MS)! So, the total is -10 for me now.

I still have some weight from my last pregnancy with DD :blush: About 20lbs I gained after delivery :dohh: so if I am lucky, I am hoping not to gain too much in the first half of this pregnancy :D
 
I have probably gained closer to a stone, not too worried about it as I had dropped a lot of weight just before conceiving so think I just made that back up, plus the fact I've had no sickness, just an increased appetite! It's only weight, I can lose it after and what I don't or can't shift will just be a lovely reminder of my pregnancy with my first bub :)
 
ive gained 11 :-(:-(:-( i hate it am determined not to put any on for 3 weeks lol but its just going on like theres no tomorrow!!!
 
Im still minus 2lbs from booking in weight!, hope to stay that way as advised by my consultant because i really dont need to put any weight on! - i feel bloody fantastic, But my appetite has increased this week so i fear it wont stay that way for long :lol:
 
I had gained 10lbs by the time I had my 17wk app. Not worried though as I was considered under weight before I got preg. (my normal weight is between 105-110lbs, have a tiny frame, but am 5ft5", Dr. said my weight normal for my incredibly skinny frame, lol). I go for walks with my dog for exercise, but really should be doing more as well. lol.
 
I was 129lb pre-pregnancy and weigh the same now (at 22weeks) however I did lose about 5lb in 1st tri due to MS so I have just made it back to pre pregnancy weight.
 
It's hard to tell exactly how much I've gained as it fluctuates so much from day to day. I can say I've gained a solid 5lbs at 18 weeks. I hope to keep it at 10lbs or under by 20 weeks.
 
You guys are lucky. With healthy eating and exercise, I was up 18-19 pounds at 20 weeks and am now at +27 pounds at 26 weeks (gained 51 during first pregnancy doing the same, hoping to keep it at 40-45 with this one).

I'm also a firm believer that your body will put on what it is supposed to, so don't let your weight gain be an issue. Just eat healthy and exercise.
 
I lost about 6 pounds in the beginning, and then gained that back plus about 4 pounds now. (130lb pre-pregnancy, then 124lbs during the first 12 weeks, and now I'm up to 134.4lbs!)

So depending on how you look at it, I either gained about 4 pounds, or 10 pounds! :)
 
I gained about 4-5lbs in my first tri. Lately it seems as though I am having a crazy growth spurt. Belly is full and tight and protruding a lot more than 2 weeks ago. So far at 22 weeks I have gained about 12lbs.
 
Ive gained 10 pounds easily and will be 20 weeks this week. With my son I gained 60 pounds, and with my daughter 40-45 pounds. It seems no matter what I eat or how active I am, my body wont stay in the recommended weight gain zone. Oh well, ive always been able to lose it afterwards, I just want a healthy baby.
