hi all this is not my first cycle on clomid but thourt id share a little of my story to bring hope to all you trying to concieve . fell pregnant on first cycle of clomid an now have a lovley 18 month old baby boy .

me and my partner decided november last year that we wanted to try for another so after our 4 cycle i am now 4 weeks pregnant with baby no 2 . so hang in there girls

my first time i was around 7 weeks when i realised i was pregnant this time round ive had that feeling for weeks now . heartburn , headaches, and tiredness omg im sleeping like i havnt for a year . ill never take sleep for granted agen lol xx

Lol well you are making a baby inside of you! I am 3DPO but I've been sleeping sooooo much! Is this a side effect of clomid because I know it cannot be pregnancy symptoms. I'm also having tons of back aches and sharp pains in my left ovary. Ugh I hate feeling like this and not knowing what's going on lol.

Lol lets hope it's gearing up due to pregnancy! I only got insanely mad at my DH on the 4th day taking clomid, but I've had a short fuse the last week so figured due to all of the hormones; a little weepy today though. I'm 3 or 4 DPO, I'm thinking 3 DPO though.

Thanks mommy2010, that gives me some hope. I'm still waiting for af to arrive so I can start my first round of 50mgmg clomid. Since i already ov on my own, its really basically to strengthen my ov. I really feel like this is that little "umph" I need to get that bfp so I am staying very positive. And I strongly believe that poor egg quality is why I had my mc last summer, even though my doc says the two aren't related. Congrats to you on baby #2. Happy and healthy nine months to you

Hi ladies - I haven't started Clomid yet, but I am sure I will in the next couple of cycles.

So I am 25, have been with my DH for almost 7 years (married for 8 months), and I have never been on BC. I have PCOS, but I am not overweight and my ultrasound came back normal. Basically I have screwed up hormones lol. I also get positive OPK's but do not ovulate. Well, this hasn't been confirmed yet by blood tests, but I don't get a temp shift.

Anyways, I am in the process of being referred to the FS. DH just did his SA today and so I should have my first FS appointment soon!

I noticed someone earlier posted their EST results. Is that Estradiol?

Welcome Have they tried to put you on BC for 3 months (they did me and it still didn't not help make my period regulate, only while on the BC)? I absolutely didn't want to do it, but I had been bleeding 9 months straight and they wanted my body to "get a break". Have they tried you on Metformin? I guess you'll find out more when you go to the FS though lol, I didn't know if you had been previously going to other doctors. Anyways, GL to you; I don't have an official PCOS, but I am insulin resistant and overweight due to it, so trying to lose it. I do not ovulate either, that is why they put me on Clomid; hoping that I get the big BFP soon, I go in for my blood work Monday, then the following Monday I'll find out if I ovulate

Hi Felecia.

What is strange, is that my cycles are somewhat normal, ranging from 26-38 days. I have never been on BC ever.

I have Kaiser, and the regular doctor or OBGYN wouldn't do anything with me. I went to the OBGYN to ask about my severe menstrual cramps. She said she thinks I have endometriosis, and ordered blood work and an ultrasound. My blood work came back crazy showing PCOS, but my ultrasound came out normal. So then I was freaking out thinking I had a tumor or something lol. She referred me to the endocrinologist who then diagnosed me with PCOS and female infertility and told me to go to the FS. So now, I had to get MORE blood work done and DH had to get blood work done and a SA. Once she gets all of those results, she is submitting them to the FS for approval and we will go from there!

Though I'm hoping I'm expecting a negative first cycle and nothing special until 3rd one. I have no regular AF she does as she likes. My dr told me day 1 would be when it flows enough to have a pad, although I don't know if you've had periods like this in the past. After I took provera, I spotted 2 days but I didn't count those as my cycle days. It seems like there are many different answers out there on this subject. Have you spotted enough it shows up even the tiniest bit on your underwear? I say maybe give it a day if you're still spiriting maybe start counting them or call your dr for confirmation. Sorry I couldn't help very much GL

Lol it's ok! I'm now having extremely bad back pain, mainly on my left side and it travels down my leg every once in awhile. I still cannot get enough sleep for the life of me! It must be due to having so much clomid (I only did 50 mg about 2 years ago, I just took 150 mg this time). I have been having headaches, now a cold is coming on I think because I keep sneezing and my head feels like a balloon lol. I feel like I'm on my period! I even feel a lot of times like my period has started, but when I go to the bathroom, all it is, is the CM, but not on my underwear (tmi sorry). I always pray it's not my period, but with my periods always being sporadic before I don't know what to expect lol, but this back ache and cramping in my lower left abdomen is driving me crazy! I am 5/6 DPO now, so I'm praying it's implantation bleeding, but I'm never optimistic with possibly being pregnant anymore, now I just tell myself it's the clomid b/c it is way too early to be pregnancy symptoms. Hope your visit was pleasant with your parents!

Sooo sorry, that was "spotting" not "spiriting" LOL! My phone has autocorrect, sometimes it's great, other times not so much. I would just give it another day, have you had spotting before with any other period that then went full on?

yes that exactly how i felt i thourt the cramps were because i were due a period but after a week decided to take a test and came up possitive . and its never to early my docter says im 4 weeks pregnant but for weeks now ive been feeling sick aving headaches that are as worse as miagranes also mitalic tastes in my mouth . but never thourt anythink of it thn it dawned on me tht i was pregnant agen. how many cycles av u taken so far . 4th one worked for me on 5omg .
