could I join early please? I've just been diagnosed with PCOS a few weeks ago and I'm waiting to see the specialist now to get clomid! it would be good to speak to people who have more experience

Welcome I hope it does wonders for you!! I don't have PCOS officially but I am insulting resistant. Have they put you on anything or just going to do clomid for awhile?

Lol at least it's something to make is laugh for the day lol! Idk if you also have insulin resistance, but they put me on metformin which is also supposed to help with fertility. I'm hoping that, combined with clomid, will make me a success story Don't you just love to wait? I go Monday to find out if the clomid helped me ovulate or hopefully the news I've been waiting to hear... A BFP FX that you are on your way towards yours!

I Felicia I am also a first timer I have PCOS so my specialist put me on 150 clomid and I for got what the mg was for the metformin but I am on both and I also take Ovidrel once a month I am keeping my fingers crossed for all of us

I startbmy first round of clomid today, on my birthday I'm nervous but more excited because I really want results and getting a bfp this month would be the best bday gift ever! I'm planning on taking the clomid around 8pm every night in case of side effects. Do you ladies think it's too late and I should take it earlier? It's 50mg so I don't know how "much" side effects I will have.

Happy birthday!! I hope you get your bfp very soon! When I took 50 mg I did not get any side effects at all, but i think I needed a higher dose because I did not ovulate at all (that was 2 years ago). I took this month's clomid at 10 a.m.; however I wish I would have done it at night. The first 3 days I was completely fine, but then the 4th day I was so sick I couldn't even walk because I was so nauseous and dizzy. I would definitely recommend doing it later, even at supper time if you want to do it just a tad earlier, but I don't think it really matters; at least that is what my dr told me. Best of luck to you!

Hubby has dinner reservations for 7pm tonight so he says he wants to enjoy a glass of champagne with me before I take the med. LOL... you're only as old as you feel! Sounds like you have a caring hubby there FX for all of us, as this is a road I would have never thought I'd have to travel lol.

So I had a blood test today and the nurse said that I definitely ovulated!! So just doing the 2ww and fx that it comes out as a :BFP: !!!

Good Morning!!!! Today will be day 3 for me. I'm taking the clomiphene at nights and so far no side effects. The only thing i notice is that "gassy" feeling in my abdomen area. Its not bothersome and I could be playing tricks on myself, but that's the only thing I noticed a little bit this morning. I hope this little white pill does the trick for us

Good morning to you ladies as well I didn't get any side effects until day 4, then it hit me like a ton of bricks (not saying this will happen to y'all lol). That's great though that none of you are experiencing anything, and I hope you don't get them as bad as I did on day 4, I was a horrible witch!! I felt so bad because I am NEVER like that, even when I was always on my period, the problem I had was I didn't know how to stop it lol. I am currently 10 DPO, go Monday to find out if I ovulated or anything. I am feeling sick, extremely tired, and my back is aching really bad. I did Zumba yesterday and I am in extreme pain from that lol. I am also having veins appear all over my legs and breasts, hoping this is a good thing for me Not going to test till I miss AF though; hope she stays away! How have y'all been?

It's due in 7-10 days. It's so awesome because as I have mentioned before, I have not had a period for 1 year!! So knowing I'm either pregnant or going to get my period excites me alot! haha!

I'm having heightened sense of smell and sore breasts.. might be phantom symptoms though!

pnutsprincess- Yay goodluck! I never had any side effects with clomid, so hopefully you don't as well. Taking it in the evening is what works for me

Hope1409-yay you're almost there 2 more days and you're finished with clomid, then time to wait for it to sink into your system then BD BD BD BD time!

felecia- fx for you! I hope that we both get BFP's! I have sore breasts and I can smell almost everything around me.. but as I said it might be imagined symptoms so not keeping my hopes up until I get a BFP!
