My other symptoms are mild but very subtly increasing glad i had the monthly nail fixing session with my MIL before i decided i was actually preggers it's amazing to think i might finally be there what's everyones TTC story ? I'm curious to see !

For me we've been TTC 18months, had 6 chemicals before this and was on month 2 of progesterone from the specialist when this happened I'm also from UK but live in sweden ! How about everyone else ?

I'm 25, OH is 33 and this is our 1st child. We've been TTC for two cycles, firat had promising symptoms but bfn, then this cycle I have had less symptoms but a fab bfp at 9dpo. Feel very lucky and hoping for a sticky bean. I had a chemical in the past (unplanned baby, early bfp) when I was 18 so fx things are different now.

My story is a complicated one. We decided we were going to TTC as soon as we got married, and I had my IUD removed two days after the wedding. We got straight to NTNP. I had no idea I was pregnant already -- I MC'd about month later, saw a doc a month after that, found out THEN that I'd MC'd at approximately ten weeks (probably due to trauma from the IUD removal) but still had a second fertilized egg (blighted) in there that my body wasn't flushing out, so I had a D&C.

It took forever for my body to recover.

I got pregnant again 3 months after the D&C (it took a month and a half before the hcg even left my system), but my body wasn't ready yet, and I MC'd that one at 5 weeks.

Second cycle after the chemical, here I am, pregnant again!

My ttc story is fairly uncomplicated. I'm 34 and Dh is 35. We already have a lovely if chaotic little boy called Daniel who turns 2 on April fools day. It took us 2 cycles to conceive him and this bfp was on our second cycle also. I'm still not feeling very pregnant and don't think I'll tell Dh until I get confirmation on a digi. The other tough one is my sister. We had our first children one day apart which was amazing. She started to ttc again about a year ago and has been having lots of problems. Telling her will be hard. I know she'll be happy for me but I also now how worried she is about her own cycles.

Dill that's a horrible story :/ I hope this little bean is here to make up for your prior sadness !

Mrs B it can be super hard in those situations, at least you have time till you -need- to tell her I hope she gets her sticky soon so you can share in that together again !

Mrs, that is tricky. I know my own sister is having mixed feelings about this pregnancy (she is one of 2 people who knows besides hubby). She's already had 3 girls, and tells everyone to stop at 2 kids, but admitted that she is jealous at how easily I seem to conceive and that I'll have "the last one," and that she considers having a fourth just so she can have the last. She even told a relative that she moved back here so that her kids have a better chance to "compete" with any future offspring of mine to get attention from our parents. Sisters can be tough! But she's happy for me, regardless of the emotional baggage that comes with, and she's been very helpful. I'm sure yours will be a little conflicted, too, but she'll come through for you.

Hi can I join please? My edd is 3rd nov. This is my 2nd pregnancy I have an almost 3yr old dd too we conceived 3rd cycle this time (was 6 last time). I have lupus so am high risk. Im already on asprin and high folic acid. I have an early scan on the 30th march (will be about 8 weeks) feels so long away! Will be having midwife earlier as I need bloods done soon.
Been feeling naseous since 9dpo, and slightly sore bbs got my bfp at 10dpo and a digi today my bloat has really kicked in today-worried how soon I will show as I don't want my boss to know too early.

Hiya Ladies!! I've been perma-mobile the past few days so I've been out of the loop. Congrats on everyone's BFPs!! Once I get my laptop back from repair (tomorrow) I can for sure edit the OP with our due dates!!
Yes, Sweet Potatos is a Thanksgiving reference. It was the first thing that popped into my head for our November babies. We don't have to stick with it though, if we can come up with something more universal.

AFM, I have cramping, bloating and bouts of extreme hunger, but that's it really so far. No MS and I'm hoping it stays that way! I got lucky on my previous pregnancy with no MS. I have my first meeting with a MW on March 3rd!

I'm 15 dpo. I really want to do a digi but I'm too ill to go and get one. Still haven't told Dh either. I don't think it's properly sinking in yet, probably because of the lack of symptoms. Did another ic this morning and got a nice darker line though.
Think I may be classed as high risk this time due to my weight and my placenta failing last time, which lead to my son being in nicu with low blood sugar.
I've heard digis are a bit hit and miss so I wouldn't panic on not getting a + at 17dpo, we are all still super early.

That's an amazing line, about twice as strong as mine at 15dpo then I ran out of IC ! I'm putting myself in the mindset for it being the worst, gonna be the looongest 2weeks EVER to get to my scan ! I'm so glad we're all early together

That's a gorgeous line! Much stronger than what I had while I was still testing. I got a digi positive on much less than that, so I called it good and I am done testing -- no point in stressing about it!

I just used a digi at 15dpo and got 'Pregnant 2-3'. xx

Gorgeous line on the ic, I stopped using them because I kept getting shadows on cycles I wasn't preg!

Dill- im the same now, did my last test this morning (use them up ) and I got my digi pregnant yesterday so no more tests. Although was slightly tempted to do a indicator one in a week or so for 3+ woken up with a blocked nose and headache this morning is paracetamol ok!? I know sudafed isnt.

I had a second temp drop this morning :/ The low temps could be caused by low iron since I'm vegetarian. I'm going to do a digi tomorrow and 21dpo, if nothing by then I'll go back to the specialist and beg her to see me!

I'm not sure you'll find something safe, assuming UK? I got some Tylenol sent from America so I don't feel guilty whatever is in them is supposedly baby safe!

Hi ladies, loving all the talk of testing! I've done two frers, one in the evening 9dpo and one in the morning 10dpo and the line was darker. Been using ICs every morning as well, keeping them to see progression. Todays was considerably darker than my first IC test so I find that reassuring. I have 2 frers left, so I intended to use them on 12dpo and 14dpo to see if the lines get darker. I'm 11dpo just now and also considering buying a digi test to have the word 'Pregnant' right in front of me.

Symptomwise, I am Knackered with a capital K! Also been having on and off nausea, tender breasts and some minor aches in my lower abdomen and hips. I have a major smell aversion to deodorants and toiletries lol, I put on my deodorant yesterday and almost immediately threw up! Didnt think anything of it until OH and I went to the shops and I went into the toiletries aisle to get shampoo and almost threw up straight away again.

We havent phoned the GP/mdiwife yet. OH wants to wait until AF due date comes and goes just incase of an early chemical, so we'll be keeping an eye on our tests and phoning on Monday. We'll also be booking in for a private early scan towards the end of March because we cant imagine waiting till 12 weeks!!

When do you go to the doctors in the uk, is it 8 weeks? I know last time my doctors messed it up and told me I couldn't have an appointment until 11 and there was then a mad dash to get my 1st scan in while they could still do the appropriate tests so I'm not sure what you are supposed to do?
