Hey! I haven't posted much but I really need some support right now because I have no one in my situation right now. I'm an army wife and my hubby is 23 I'm 22. We now been ttc for 8 months (9 cycles) one cycle before he went to basic an then every month since September. Nothing. And please, I know it can take a year for healthy couples, I get that. But...I haven't met another couple our age that took longer than 6 months to conceive unless something was wrong. I have regular cycles, 27-28 days. I've even using opks 3 months and have gotten positives. We have tried the smep method and every other day method of BDing. I am overweight, but have always had healthy lab an blood work and don't have painful or irregular periods. I working out and eat healthy. My husband might be deploying sometime at the end of the year or so and he is starting to get more disappointed each month we get a negative. I'm just starting to feel down. I don't chart because I wake up so frequently at night, so that's kinda out. We have been together for over 6 years married for over a year. Living on an army post is really difficult. EVERYONE is pregnant or has very young children. It's in my face everyday. Blegh. I'm sorry for the vent. I know we have to be patient and that God's timing will be right but it's getting harder each month we get a negative...

I'm so sorry you are struggling and feeling down xx
Have u spoken to a doctor at all about TTC? Maya be they could check DH's swimmers to see if that's the issue?

Good luck and I hope it happens soon for you x

I think it could really benefit you to temp.....even with interrupted sleep. I wake up 1, maybe 2-3 times a night and I still see a clear shift when I ovulate.

OPK's and tracking CM are not fool proof ways to tell you are ovulating. They are just guesses. You can get a positive OPK and not ovulate.

Honestly...temp. It will be worth it.

Thanks ladies, I had a pre ttc checkup while DH was in basic and all was well. I have an appt with an OB for my well woman exam end of this month and I'm going to mention ttc and my concerns. I just wish the appointment was sooner :( I am going to ask about getting DHs swimmers tested ASAP. I had an ultrasound in college and they said I had cysts on both ovaries but that it was 'normal' but I'm a little skeptical now. So now I'm freaked out about that! Ugh stupid internet lol. And yea I think I'm going to start temping if we get a bfn in two weeks

Cycle 5 here cd 10 im 22 opks might not work for. Me i do get monthly cycles as well maybe its the hubbies?

Possibly baby-rose we aren't ruling anything out. Hopefully I can talk to my new OB at my appointment and see if there is anything we can get rolling sooner rather than later! I hope we get our BFP soon!

I'm 24 and hubby is 23. We've been ttc for 7 cycles now. Trying not to be too stressed and will visit dr after 12 months if still no luck. Given your situation with your husband deploying soon I think you're wise to visit your dr and tell him/her your situation. Best of luck to you...maybe this cycle!!

Bubbles i hear you i wanna try naturally first but bummer ending 5th cycle

I would still try temping, hon. I know it may seem pointless, but it could at least give you a glimpse of whats going on. Couldnt hurt to try. Good luck :flower:

Totally agree! I'd try temping too. I wake up in the night but still see a clear temp shift. GL!
