i have felt my baby be very active every night this week after dinner but tonight I dont and I was laid off today... now i'm wondering did the stress of today do something to the baby. at 22 weeks do you consistently feel the baby or days when you dont?

I had a few days where I didn't feel baby move around 19weeks after it being pretty consistent. So I just took out my Doppler and checked things and all was good. You could just call your dr to check on baby if your concerned.

Hi pirate! It is totally normal not to feel the baby movement consistently. Try eating a banana, and laying down for 20 minutes. Ive felt baby doing flips every night this week but tonight baby us less active. No worries. Jst a banana or something sugary should get the baby going for a bit.

Last Friday I felt baby move in the morning, then barely anything until Sunday night. I was so freaked out! I felt her move maybe once on Saturday and I wasn't even sure it was movement. Sunday evening I tried all the tips and tricks to get her moving and the only thing that worked was music to the belly :)
I spoke to my midwife about it yesterday and she said it's pretty normal at 22 weeks to feel lots of movement, then feel like it has just stopped. Baby is still so small that they can 'hide' amongst the placenta or just tuck low down.
They don't start kick counting until 28 weeks, so she said to just take it easy and try not to worry at this point!

I had some days like that. My most active twin went quiet for a few days, but then was back to being super active again, it was around 22 or 24 weeks too! It can be worrying though so I understand how you feel!

Aw calm I love how twins have little personalitys so early on :) bet you know which one will be keeping you on your toes lol

I'm in the same boat. I'm 24+5. She was active yesterday morning and quiet at night. I had to play music to get her going last night to put my mind at ease. This morning she's been quiet again, played some music before I showered and felt some kicks but then back to quiet. I'm trying not to freak out but it's hard !
I have an OB appointment next week so I think I'm going to bring it up then.

I was worrying about this the other night! I've got anterior placenta so I barely feel her move anyway, tried jumping up and down and prodding etc but nothing worked, until I downed 2 glasses of freezing water. That worked and woke her up :)
