25 weeks + 28 weeks midwife appointments..

Okay so I have a problem! I'm meant to book in for a 25 week midwife appointment as it's my first baby.. But that week I'm away on holiday. To make matters worse, the midwife here only has a clinic running every other week... And she only has 23 weeks, 25 weeks, or 27 weeks. I also have to book the 28 week appointment, but have the same issue.

What should I do about the 25 week appointment, and what about the 28 week one? When I call my GPs I get told "I don't know, ask your midwife" but I was never given her number.

Just book it for as close to the time as possible x

Maybe you can see a midwife at your local hospital unit? In your notes there should be contact details-I'd have a look and see if there's a Head of Mudwifery you could call for advice.

That's rubbish! Check in your notes and see if there is a number for the local midwife office they might be able to give you advice

In the notes you were given at your booking in appointment there should be a named midwife contact, try giving them a call and they'll tell you when its best to go.

I haven't been given a named midwife contact and no phone number for 'my' midwife.
