26, TTC#1, CD 153, looking for a buddy

I got married to my boyfriend of 5 years in august last year and came off cerazette september after just over 5 years using it. AF arrived at the end of november and I was really excited to start TTC. Unfortunately since then I've not had another AF. Today is CD 153. I've been to the doctor and had blood tests done, everything was fine except testosterone which was slightly high. The doctor has referred me to another doctor at my surgery who specialises in female fertility, appointment with her is on tuesday. I'm really hoping that she can shed some light on what's going on, as at the moment it's kind of like being in limbo. I'd really appreciate some buddies, either in the same sort of situation or just TTC in general.

I'm not really in the same situation as you as I'm TTC #2 and my cycles are pretty regular. But when I came off the pill 4 years ago I had long cycles too so know how frustrating it is! It took 14 months to conceive my little girl and needless to say I never went back on the pill. Since stopping breastfeeding my cycles have been pretty settled at around 28 - 30 days. So it is possible to eventually get back to `normal` cycles once the pill finally gets out of your system. Glad to hear your doctor is taking you seriously as mine was hopeless!

Hi hun,

I just wanted to let you know that when I came of bcp (microgynon) in 2008, I had my withdrawal bleed and then I went about 130 days before the arrived. Boy was I pleased to see her!! Never thought I would be when we were desperately ttc no1!

Just to give you a bit of hope, I fell pregnant that same month with my gorgeous son!

I vowed never to go back on bcp!! It seriously messes with your body!
