2cm dilated and had a sweep n stretch..how long?

just wondering how long u went from being dilated to birth.. if u have experienced it..like how long did it take u to dilate ready to give birth then as this is my second baby and was told its a lot quicker

posted this last nite, didnt get a reply so just in case it wasnt understand-able haha i just wanna no if things can happen quick as this is my second baby and im already 2cm..
does being 2cm normally mean baby will b here soon

Tbh, with dd (my first) I was 3cms from around 37 weeks, had a sweep at 39 weeks (I wasn't allowed to go overdue) and nothing happened even my VERY strong, frequent bh's stopped!

Everyone is different though so good luck

With my first I was 2cm dilated at first sweep, then after 3 days had another sweep , I was still 2cm but LO arrived 24hrs later. Good luck!

yeh i had my sweep thurs and another last nite.. am having what i believe to b contractions but there not regular and not painful atm
