2nd time round

Hi Ladies!

Im currently 36 weeks pregnant with DS2 and i am excited about breast feedimg again! With my first it hurt like crazy til about week 3, i know this was probably due to a latching problem but once i got going i loved it and fed til he was 8 months old. My question is for the 2nd time mothers, does it hurt as much as the first time and did you find you took to it quicker?

I found the first time it hurt quite a bit for the first 2 weeks at least but 2nd time it was fine, I can't even remember it hurting. DS2 also latched on quicker and I knew what I was doing in terms of holding and positioning so it was generally easier.

It was definitely a lot better pain wise the second time around I had a bit of pain but it was easily fixed as I knew what I was doing this time around in regards to latch problems.
