3 month old - sudden terrible trapped wind

Why is this?! He's been fine up til now, a few issues with wind as a newborn and since then he's been great, self settling and sleeping through the night. Now he's still sleeping through but there seems to be a problem with his last feed as it takes him 2 to 3 hours to go to sleep afterwards - and all that time he's screaming in pain. I have to bounce him gently for ages to get a tiny burp up. I feel so sorry for him.

Is there any truth to what I eat affecting him?

My little girl is the same but only since her 3 week growth spurt. Tonight she went down at 6pm - earlier than normal- and has actually slept

For the last nearly two weeks she has not settled between her 6pm feed and 11pm. I really hope this is a turning point. I have been using infacol
