Hi to all you lovely ladies, sorry for your losses.

Although it has only been 3 months for me it actually seems like we lost our LO forever ago.

We are so lucky to have our daughter she has been keeping me busy & she's helped me get through.

Although there are other things we are planning for the near future (I want a new job & learn to drive) we have decided to just start TTC & just see what happens things will slot in to place I'm sure.

We won't be charting or anything just taking vitamins & bd regularly.

Good luck to all of you hopefully the TTC journey won't be too long for any of us xx

I'm so sorry for your loss :(
I suffered a loss at 9 weeks last week and I'm having a really tough time dealing with it. I'm waiting for my 1st period and then will try again.
Trying again is a scary thought to me - but we want a baby so we will just have to bite the bullet.
I've read that women are more fertile after a miscarriage :)
Best of luck to you hun!!!
Xx

Hi ladies,
So sorry for your losses!

I had 2 miscarriages in 6 months and like you lovemybubx it's taken me 3-4 months to feel ready to try again this time! It sounds great that you have things to focus on and keep you busy! I wish I had more 'other things' to focus on but I had to give up my job in the first pregnancy so have way too much time on my hands!

Staycb01- it took us 13 months to conceive the first time, I had very irregular cycles 23-64 days! and didn't ovulate often. After the first miscarriage it only took 2 cycles of trying! I now have clockwork cycles and for the first time am experiencing PMT (yuk!) and getting positives on OPKs. So for me.....it was definitely the case that I was more fertile after. Either the miscarriages or D&C 's that I had both times have completely changed my hormones!

Good luck to you both, I hope we all get our happy endings and stay strong in the meantime!

Hi ladies. I just had a miscarriage in June and am still waiting for AF. It's nice to know in not alone in all this. I've heard you are more fertile afterwards too. Hope you all have BFPs soon!

Thanks ladies for your input!!! I hope we all get our rainbow's soon :)

Thank you for your replies & sharing your experiences.

Laurans I'm sorry to hear of your 2 losses :hugs:

Trying again is a really scary thing & I know I won't be able to tell anyone buy OH for a long time until I feel sure everything is ok.

Nice to see that being more fertile after a mc is proving true.

Thank you again ladies :) xx

so sorry for your losses

i had a Miscarriage in February at 11 weeks, i was devastated after my 1st IVF with severe OHSS. but i'm ready for a 2nd IVF whiich i'm scheduled for ER next wednesday and hopefully ET on the 5th of August. Just trying to stay positive and hope for the best, i know we'll all get our BFP and our take home babies this time around.

I'm so sorry for all you've been through. I think being positive is a important thing to be when trying again. We will get our rainbows xxx

Hey
stacyb01 how are you doing? Hope your getting through the days and finding some things to feel positive about!:flower:

Lovemybubx, yeah when to tell people is such a difficult one! If/ when I get pregnant again I will need to tell family for support but then on the other hand I don't want them getting their hopes up!:shhh:

Abydix, really admire you staying positive! My sister went through IVF and I saw how tough it is!!!! But on the upside she had twin boys so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Kazy, hope :witch: comes soon! It's so funny how you spend most months hoping she won't come and then after a miscarriage you are happy to see her!

He joy the rest of the weekend everyone!

Hi ladies. In April I mc at 6 weeks and last week I had a chemical pregnancy. My husband is starting to feel defeated and I think it's more about not wanting to go through the heart ache but I think I'm more sure. I can't explain it, but there's something in my heart that tells me this is meant to happen for us and it will when the time is right.
Trying to keep positive and keep moving forward and I just need to believe we will get our rainbow baby!

Sorry for yall's losses ladies :(
From my signature yall can kind of see our story, we conceived 5th cycle. We're NTNP this month and hoping to try SMEP after next af.

Hey hun-

I'm doing ok - trying to hang in there. I have my follow up to my D&C today. I'm hoping that they have the test results from the baby too....
I think I may have started my period already yesterday - Nurse told me today when I called that it sounded like I did start it early. Guess we'll find out.
How are you doing?

Hey Staycb01, let me know how your follow up goes! Hope it's all as positive as it possibly can be! I guess Its good news if you have your period already, hopefully it means your body is returning to a 'normal' cycle.
I'm fine thanks, have got my parent in laws over to visit for the weekend which is nice! Wondering if I'm going to test next week or not? Period due 6th Aug.....to scared to find out either way! Eeeeeek!

Hey Laurans-
Follow up went ok. Uterus and cervix are back to normal. HCG still at 116 so this bleeding is not my period :( Hopefully will get it though in another week or two. I just want to start trying again!!!
What cycle day are you on? I tested at 8DPO with this one and I got a super faint positive - so I think you should test soon! Fingers crossed!!!
I wanted to ask you too - from your signature it appears that you had your recent loss tested? We tested ours too and should know later this week.

I was really hoping to get testing done since they had to do a D&C anyway, but my dr refused, saying they will if I have 3 in a row, but no reason to at my age and it being the first one :(

That is totally ridiculous! This was my first loss and my Dr. is the one who recommended it. You are the one paying for the test, therefore it should be your decision I think!
My Dr. did say a lot of times it's a chromosome issue - and nothing that should reoccur.

That's what I thought too, but we're switching insurance in October for next pregnancy and will be pushing it if it happens again or going to another dr if she refuses. I think testing would have given me some closure, but it's done now and can't change it :/ She just gave me the whole "chromosomal abnormality is what it was most likely", but she was very nice and wanted to make sure I didn't blame myself (knowing and how you feel, 2 completely different things). On my follow up she didn't even do a pelvic exam, let alone blood or a urine test to see if I was still testing positive for pregnancy. She pushed on my stomach for a couple of seconds and said everything looked great and I was healing well. I ended up with a lot of questions and no answers. Doctors suck lol

Hey Staycb01, so glad things looks ok! Hopefully it is a tiny bit of relief to know things are healthy, hope your not too disappointed about the HCG! Fingers crossed it will zero soon!
NicaQ - sorry to hear your experience wasn't helpful!

I'm English but live in Switzerland now where all the healthcare is private! We were recommended testing (although no medical reason to suggest an issue!) and so paid for Karyotyping! Said it would take upto 6 weeks but then forgot to send us results and then the doctor mentioned it in an email by accident. She then said we needed genetic counselling even though it was turners syndrome (monosomy X ) which is a random occurrence and no reason why it should happen again so havent followed it up! There have been so many mistakes in my care here. E.g. Apparently I was meant to be on progesterone the second time I got pregnant but they forgot to give it to me etc etc. unfortunately ladies it looks like good and bad care is found in all countries. If I was in the Uk I wouldn't have been offered any testing after 2 miscarriages, some women don't get it after 3 I don't think! But if I would have had option of paying private for it!
NicaQ I don't understand why you can't have it if your paying for your care???
I hope you both get the tests/answers you are looking for! Sometimes it can help just a little!
Have a good day, Laura x

I'll be on progesterone with next pregnancy even though my placenta was functioning, cervix was closed, and uterus was progressing when they found MMC. Doesn't make any sense to me to be put on progesterone suppositories, but I suppose it can't hurt, and I'm glad she's willing to do what she can. I'm supposed to call as soon as I get a bfp so she can call in the prescription for the progesterone.
