3 week old baby eating too much... not producing milk anymore

i am barely producing milk...so now I am having to feed my LO formula. It seems like each day I produce less and less. LO is 3 weeks today and i bf and he cries like he isn't getting anything so i give him a 4oz bottle and even after he is done with that it's like he wants more. I try and burp him after every 1-2oz. I have been thinking about completely stopping the bf and giving him a 6oz bottle. Dont know if it's normal for a 3 week old baby to eat that much. With my 1st I only bf him. Anyone else go through this? Also it seems like after almost every feeding he spits up... a lot. Could it be the formula or is he eating too much?

By 3 weeks my LO was on 5oz every 3 hours! Sounds like he could have reflux, talk to your HV or GP
Also talk to one of them about continuing to BF or not
