30th percentile - worried

Exactly 2016, I don't know! I just put my faith in the midwife since week 28 first fundal measurement so .... I do feel better now, there are a far lot worse things that could occur. I just panic Cause its my first :) x

So the first measurement was just FH? That can be terribly unrealisable even when an experienced MW does it! Again with DS my FH measured 5cm ahead all the way through, this time 2cm behind. Both babies above 95th centile by scan.

my son was born around the 10% and has pretty much stayed along that line for his growth. a growth scan that i had for him, the measurements werent even.close. they are just estimates. i also wanted to point out that just because both parents are tall or short doesnt mean baby will be the same. they could be a throw back. as long as the growth is consistent that is what docs focus on

You know, I was a big, heavy baby and now I'm a very average height, lightweight adult. My little sis was also a big baby... she actually barely reached 5' tall full grown. Don't worry, I'm sure you won't have a short child if both of you are tall! But their size right now has very little to do with it.

I wouldnt panic hun xx My friend was always measuring less then 10th percentile on her fundal height (always same midwife.. i recon she is measuring wrong) but at the scan the baby showed to be perfect size etc.
I however am showing small... and baby is on the 10th percentile. im not worried as baby is all healthy and in proportion just tiny xx I am having fortnightly scans. however if baby was at 30th percentile although slightly small compared to the average baby my growth scans would be stopping as 30th percentile at birth is still a baby over 6lbs as this is what consultant said. he said average baby was top end of 7lbs so 30th percentile isnt bad, just means smaller that almost 8lbs lol xx
