Hi ladies, how are we doing this week?

I'm finding im really sore around my bump when I wake up in the morning. Despite trying to sleep on my left, I often wake on my back so I think maybe it's the weight of the baby on my insides?

I'm really frustrated that the nursery's not finished, I desperate to nest! Hubby is doing his best but he works such long hours and is now having to work this weekend when he's supposed to be off.

I'm starting to gather things for my hospital bag, but haven't started packing yet. There's so much to take, I'll need a full size suitcase for it all at this rate!

I've got 18 days left to work and they can't go quick enough! Having said that, I've got so much to do before I leave that I really need to crack on with the boring stuff I've been putting off!

9 weeks has never seemed like such a long time. I'm desperate to know whether the baby's ok. Midwife is happy with us so I guess she probably is. They are not sure what way up she is though - I think she's breach. Still plenty of time to turn though.

Hope you're all well. :hugs:

Mee!!

The tiredness is now back with a vengeance! But if I nap I wake up feeling really sick =[

The school run is starting to do me in now, its fine the way there but back its all uphill!

I think this last 9 weeks is going to go slow, 2 months exactly on Monday, which is also my birthday =D

Hey ladies! I would say I feel the same, as in my bump feels 'achy' in the morning when I first get up. It goes away once I get moving. Maybe it just from the way LO is lying? I dont' know. Feeling lots of hard kicks and rolls all over my bump. I am not sure which way she is 'laying'. I think she might be head down as I feel hard kicks high up and smaller movements lower. When I feel hiccups they have been lower too. I have my first OB appt on Tues so hopefully they will be able to tell, but as you said, still plenty of time to turn.

Our nursery is painted, we have a crib set up and a glider. But that is it. Just a got a call that the change table and dresser is in, so we have to pick that up and set up, and hang our curtains. I have my first Baby shower tomorrow, so that should be fun! Bring on week 32!

31 weeks on Tuesday. I'm feeling pretty good. I get tired but am trying to stay active and get stuff done around the house. My bump is sore by the end of the day but I can't find any kinda of support that is comfortable. Been seeing the chiropractor for the last 3 weeks and it's been helping the back and pubic bone pains. Hypnobirthing class is good.

Hi, 31 weeks on Monday. Bump sore in the mornings as are my hips. Lots of movement most days - I know what you mean about the rolls! I'd love to know which bits I'm being kicked by, though, I'm intrigued! My digestive system is completely up the spout, heartburn, reflux (which makes me wake up choking at night) and the opposite of constipation. Not very nice, but all worth it! Tiredness is back - but as we all know a full 6 hours of sleep is hard to come by!
Just need to get a feeding chair, more nappies and things for me for the hospital, and we've got all essentials done. Getting very excited now, as well as the odd moment of anxiety!
Good luck ladies, less than 9 weeks to go! ;)

i'm just off 32 weeks, so hope i can join in. Yeha, achy bump, especially int he morning. I'm hoping to keep working for a while yet so i'm ignoring the tiredness as much as possible - keep telling myself that it's just a new job thing and smiling away. My new work collegues are being very supportive, but then i have been trying to keep out of their hair and way so that they don't have to be annoyed with my complaints too much!

Been feeling run down with a cold. Eating like a horse, the massive carvery i had this evening didn't really satisfy me and i could have happily tucked into the rather large puddings that i spotted about the place. I'm starting to worry that i eat too much!

Feeling a bit odd about my last antenatal app as it was at the hospital and although my bp was fine, they want to check it 2x a week from now on as i had problems last time right at the end. With the new job i work a bit later and leaving 2x a week is a real pain - i'm a teacher so flexi time doesn;t work and actually being away from my classes creates more work for me than being there myself. Still, if that's what the drs say. Otherwise the app went well. Head is currently down and baby doesn't appear too big! phew!

Setting up the house ready for baby two, seems less urgent than it did with baby 1. I think i'm under some type of strange illusion that i have everything that i need and i'll just sort it as i need it... i'm waiting for the nesting instinct and the energy to kick in... i hope it does so soon, otherwise baby will have no-where to sleep

I've just started to put a few things together reeady for the hospital. trying not to go over the top - i'll have another bag ready for oh to bring in if i stay in with extra clothes for baby, rather than pack a weeks worth as i did last time! Same for me!

If you haven't found a nursing chair yet, the one I got was from Kiddicare and I love it. At the moment they are half price at £80! https//:Www.kiddicare.com just search for nursing chairs and then put the list in price order. I think it's the cheapest one they do (would post a link but my phone defaults to the mobile site and I can't fo it from there)

hi, im 31 weeks too. I have the achy feeling too. But i get it during the day too. Its an awful feeling. We have our nursery pretty much finished now, but theres other parts of the house that need to be finished yet, the 2 bathrooms and the kitchen... so im getting impatient as i wanted it all to be done before baby gets here.

Ive started packing my hospital "bag"... its actually a suitcase, and i havent got everything ill need yet and its almost full.

Does anyone else have awful pains in thier shoulder blades and ribs and feel like their chest is really restricted?
Im not sure if its normal or not, but its really painful.

Im getting regular midwife appointments now, at least every 2 weeks, and have finally got an appointment for physio to try and help with my SPD. But everyone keeps telling me its useless. :(

Baby has been in transverse lie for about a month, but has moved down a couple of times and engaged, but i think she finds this uncomfortable due to my short torso, as she keeps moving back to transverse lie. Midwide also thinks shes a big baby, so have been told they'll keep measuring me regularly until around 35-36 weeks and if she is still measuring big they will send me for a scan to double check, and that if this is the case, they want to discuss inducing me early.

Anyhoo... im getting very anxious and excited at the same time.

Good luck ladies :flower:

Hi ladies! I'll be 31 weeks tomorrow. Having a really hard time sleeping now. It seems like I always have to pee or I just simply wake up and can't go back to sleep. So now I'm always exhausted, too.

Baby is moving a lot now! :) I had a 3D ultrasound at 28 weeks, and he was head down. Think he's stayed that way, too, from what I can tell. Can't wait for the next 9 weeks to fly by! :)

Very sore when I wake up in the morning! Like I did a bunch of exercises the night before. Still muscles all over and no energy whatsoever.

We are far from having the house ready, and like the OP, my husband is working really long hours right now. Nearly 9pm on a Saturday night and he is just now driving home. Has been on a 6 day schedule for a while now; 6 very long days. But! We really need the money!

Wish I would get a burst of nesting energy, but I'm so exhausted!

I'm 31 weeks on Monday!!

I am doing pretty good in the energy department and sleeping ok - it's just getting comfortable that's the problem since I lost my stomach-sleeping position- boo!

But definitely a sore bump happening - right at the top in the middle where the ab muscles are splitting. OUCH! Also been getting tons of BH - maybe 20-30/day? They are way more intense than the first time around too - I have to breathe through them and sometimes sit down lol!

Time is going so fast though - I'll be full term in 6 weeks and we haven't done a thing or come up with a name yet! :haha:

Nursery not started yet and I am starting to stress about it. Hopefully within the next two weeks we will have it done. HAving my baby shower tomorrow, maybe that will kick start me. SO many of you ladies are very organized compared to me.
Def stiff sore and achey in the morning. I have days with very little movement, light movements, followed by the next day with lots of movement. I had a growth scan Friday, Technician was nasty so didn't tell me anything at all :( but he looked good to me.

I have also been waken up at night chocking, and sometimes find it hard to breath. My belly is huge and mobility is waddling at best.

Glamorous isn;t it ladies :)

Hi everyone!

I find it interesting everyone else gets a sore bump in the morning...I get mine either in the middle of the night or in the evening after a long day. I also have some pubic bone/pelvic pain when I'm active.

I'm waking up in the middle of the night unable to fall asleep for a long time. Oh, and with heartburn!

Nursery is nearly finished...just need a changing pad and a few odds and ends. Oh, and my hospital bag is NOT packed. I don't even own a diaper bag/hospital bag yet.

My baby shower was today and it was so wonderful! :cloud9: I felt very loved and can tell my little man is loved too! It was a lovely small get together of about 16 family members and friends....and I got loads of spiffy clothes I can't wait to dress the wee guy in.

Oh, and I'm back on antibiotics for an infection (bv) which I'm still confused how I somehow got....the only thing I can think of is I take a lot of bathes with fragranced soaps, which I'm officialy stopping.

Baby is kicking like crazy this week. He's kicking and rolling really high up! And then sometimes seems to be punching my bladder or cervix. It's hard to believe how big he must be in there.

Hi ladies, I'll be 31 weeks on Friday. I feel ok but rather achey most evenings and mornings. Do any of you ladies feel sore down below like there is a lot of pressure there? Mines mainly on an evening, also get a few Sharp twinges now and again. Baby is very active most of the day though.

I'm scared of going into early labour, anyone else keep thinking things like " if I can just get to 37 weeks I won't be worrying so much" ? I dont want to wish my pregnancy away but I feel like I'm started to struggle already with the pains and I know its only going to get worse. 7 weeks left at work too doesn't help x

Plenty of time for your baby to turn yet, so don't worry about that.

Glad your doing well :flower:

I am getting lots of pain in hip at the moment and am counting down the days!!

9 weeks does seem a long time in some ways-but if you look back to what you were doing this time 9 weeks ago, it can seem as though it was yesterday!

Need to get organised-been buying bits for hospital bag myself, and am planning on packing this week as I have been told I they are going to aim to get me to full term as I have been leaking waters may be earlier! ekk! So each week when I go for my scan I am holding my breath...

I too keep waking up on my back-I told my OH to wake me up if I do that and when he does he gets told off by a grumpy sleepy me for waking me up!
xx

i love my nursing chair - so does my toddler now too. def worth the pennies we spent on it. just have to work out where to put it with the newborn arriving as it won't fit in the nursery with two cots!

I know the wishing away time with work thing - i know i have 7 weeks left, but then only 8 weeks of pregnancy and i'm desperate to enjoy these moments. I'm trying to do something each day to celebrate this pregnancy or do something for the baby to keep me focussed on it and not the work... i teach so can easily get wrapped up in the whole thing.

As for the early labour, try not to worry about it too much... extra worry doesn't help at all. Try your best to chill and enjoy this time. I read this week that the alveoli and are pretty much fully formed and ready for action, so i feel reassured by that... i hope it helps you a bit :hugs:
