32 week scan to check placenta

Hi im just wondering what happens if my placenta is still low at my 32 week scan?. on my 20 week scan it completly covered OS. ive got my 32 week scan next week so just wondering what they will do if its still low. any info would be great thnx xx

Mine didnt move till i went for my 34wk scan, now its out of the way

I'm not sure they will prob ask you to come back at 34/36 weeks. Mine isnt booked till 36 weeks but when I went for my 4D Scan at 28 weeks it was still right down there :S

During my first pregnancy my placenta was completely covering OS and didn't move by my 34 week scan, still completely covering so I ended up with a section. Think they give you a section if it is within 2cm of the OS (or something similar)!

However, this time it was partially covering at 20 weeks and had moved 7cm out of the way by 28 weeks, so fingers crossed yours will have moved to hun xx

Yep, I'm the same... have my 34 week scan on 1st April (they didn't give me 32 week scan). Fingers crossed eh?! x

Just had my 34 week scan to check my low placenta and it is all fine now and has moved out of the way ... just thought you might like to know !
