I went for my 34 week appt today during sonogram dr said baby was breech..he has been head down for over a month now and now he has turned? What can I do to turn him back head down?:dohh:

I think the baby still will have time to flip! They do inversions? (sp) where about three nurses will try to flip baby for you ;) I have had friends who have had it done with success and were able to deliver naturally no c-section. :)

LINKIE! ways to turn baby! some on your own!

You can deliver a breech baby vaginally depending on the "type of breech" it is.. I think the only breech presentation that you can't deliver vaginally is the footling breech. It will also depend on your size, etc.. your doctor will make sure you are able to handle it before giving you the go-ahead for a vaginal delivery with a breech baby. Lucky I was reading this in my workbook last night

Some doctors don't like to try to turn the baby and will insist on c-section, however, if they don't think you can deliver vaginally. My doctor basically told me if baby ends up being breech she will be a caesarian.. she does not try to turn babies. Not sure why, I just know that's how it goes for some.

Also I'm not sure but I was under the impression they could still flip around on their own until 35 weeks or something??

I responded to your 3rd tri post too. Bouncing on your ball and hugging it while on your knees.

Good luck!! :hugs:
