:hugs: I hope baby hangs in there for a little while longer for you and it can happen. A friend of mine was about 2cm dilated and contracted irregular on and off from 25 weeks onward until she went into true labour at 42 weeks!

But if things do progress faster and baby arrives sooner do keep in mind that the outcomes of baby's born at 34 weeks and greater are excellent. While babies at this gestation are more likely to experience some breathing difficulties and breastfeeding problems these issues tend to be of a relatively minor severity and they generally quickly resolve. It's not unheard of at all for these babies to quickly improve and be sent home within a week after birth if not sooner.

Thank you , I love to hear stories where other people were dialated and went OVERDUE!! Thats just amazing to hear! I do know that baby will be fine, as ive done some extensive research over and over and hardly and of the babies had serious complications, but there is still some that did have complications form just a rough pregnancy. To me I feel like ive had a rough pregnancy and baby has deffinitely had some stress as far as dialating and such, but I guess I wont truly know how the pregnancy went until she is here! Thanks for the reply! and welcome to third tri! Didnt even notice you over here yet.. sneaaky!

I know the bed rest sucks. I had been on bed rest for an abruption from 15wks to 24wks. And then at 27wks, I lost my plug and was dilated to 2cm. I was then put back on strict bed rest. At the time my girls were only 3yrs and 18months. When my water broke at 31wks, I was still at 2cm. The same at 33wks when labor started. I know the bed rest kept me from dilating and I followed the rules. But it is the most trying thing in pregnancy. And it just makes the days stretch on forever. And of course, it gives you nothing but time to lay and think about the baby coming to early and all the what if's and to google way tooooo much!!

Hang in there. It will be over soon. If you could two more weeks in, you will have an almost fully baked baby!!! 36wks, think more like medium well baby!

I do really hate bed rest it has me in a down mood most of the time, becuase I do have another child who is 4 years old and I totally feel like ive taken away from his life. My oh is absolutely wonderful and he has taken over ever chore/responsibility and i am so thanful to have to care for our son but at the same time, he isnt mom. Iykwim.

I keep thinking about having a almost done baby in 2 more weeks!! Haha I am really trying to just think she is more comfy engaged and thats why shes there, ahah not to make an appearance( irrational thought im sure) at the same time I am counting every day that she is still in there as a day accomplished in her baking!!! I cant wait to hold her obviousely but to see her struggle is going to stress me out completely.

How are you holding up hun?
