Hello ladies. I am 36+1 weeks today, since last night, after I went for a little walk I have had spotting, only a little, I notice it on the tp everytime I wipe, sometimes it's not noticeable, but I seem to inspect to the toilet paper. Anyway, with the blood I have either a clear discharge or jelly like white/yellowish stuff. I also keep getting slight pelvic pain that goes from the front to back and lasts 5-10 seconds. A couple days ago I had this but only twice, it's been everytime since 11 last night. I was also getting tightenings.
I asked my Mum, she's not completely sure, but she thinks labour could be coming.
Has anyone else experienced this?! Or at least have a slight idea on what it could be?

Hi, Im 35 wks and had to hospital on Thursday due to bleeding (I panicked) Thankfully baby is fine, turns out ive got severe thrush. Also something to do with skin growing outside my cervix instead of inside (sorry if tmi) which doc said is a common cause for bleeding and is due to hormones. (Cant remember name for it) Ive had stomach and back pain to but to be honest ive had that for weeks - the joys of pregnancy. You never know ur wee babe may be on their way :) I hope your ok, best thing to do would be to go get checked out - put your mind at rest - good luck :)

I had thrush last week, but it's gone now. So it's not that. I'm excited, but want him to wait a little longer!x

Sounds like what happened when I was going into labour with DS. Id call L&D. And don't worry that you're not quite 37 weeks, some places consider 36 weeks term!

If I'm still getting it tomorrow I'll phone up.
Not on a Sunday, if they ask me to come up I'll be waiting hours to be checked! Last time it took 7 hours for me to be looked at, and they thought I had meninjitus?! So they're never in a rush on Sundays lol.
Bet this is nothing though, onto the dance mat, space hopper (don't have a birth ball) and walking today for me then! :D x

When you were waiting around for 7 hours was that in labour ward or A&E? I can imagine waiting that long in A&E but was seen pretty quickly in labour ward even at the weekend. Still you don't have worrying symptoms so no need to rush may as well wait until tomorrow.

It's a Cervical Erosion or Cervical Ectripicon. Where the hormones in your body causes the cells from inside the womb to grow outside the cervix :) very common in people who have long term history of OCP use. Ive had one for years although its never actually caused me any problems.

Back to OP To me it sounds like you are having your show, at least, that is what i'd assume if I was in your position :) good luck xxx

We r a day off from eachother. I just had it 2 days ago. Its the bloody show. I ended up in hospital that night with contractions every 3-4 minutes for the whole time consistent. Doc was going to break my water but baby's head was not engaged and that's dangerous to do or the cord could come out first. Plus my outer cervix dialated from a 1 to a 4 while I was there. But my inner cervix that counts only dialated to a 1.

Oh right, well this could be something then! Baby's head is already engaged. Hopefully nothing progresses for a week, need to get stuff sorted still!

I was in for 3 days last week for bleeding and they dont know why. Babys head is engaged and i have a history of prems so who knows whats going on ha ha. Hope you get sorted soon x

Hey it sounds like your show which u can loose a couple of weeks before labour begins it doesn't always mean labour is imminent but u should still get checked.
