How far from this happening did labour come for you?
Or anyone know?

My doctor said this morning at my check up that he thinks there's a 95% chance that I won't be overdue :) things are going very well.

I've had this for a couple of weeks now, weight of baby on bowel. I'm 39+3 now x

My friend was told at 36 weeks that her baby would be here by 38 weeks. She had her baby yesterday at 40+4. There's no real way of telling. Baby comes when baby comes.
I was predicted the next couple of weeks by my midwife, but I'm not holding my breath lol x

I know baby will come when he's ready but it was still nice to hear. He doesn't think I will need inducing :)

I do appreciate the softer bowel movements though, beats constipation any day of the week!

What made him say that if u don't mind me asking. My midwife is v reluctant to say x

I've been having softer bowel movements for a couple of weeks. Started with my mum telling me that I should try bran flakes so that I don't get constipated. I haven't touched the grotty stuff for at least 2 weeks now and BMs are still the same.

Despite MW and everyone else telling me that they think I will go early (measured 4 weeks ahead all the way through), I'm fairly sure that I'm going to go overdue. Baby seems quite comfy in there at the moment, whch suits me fine because I'm starting to get scared of the idea of childbirth now!!! Eeek!!

I know I’ve had my baby now, but I was due to have a C-section at 39 weeks, but I went into labour at 38+1 (after everybody telling me for ages I would go overdue because its my first) anyway I ended up having a C-section at 38+1 because I went into labour :) xx

I've had loose bowel with horrible cramping starting about 5 days ago and then yesterday I had actual diarrhea. Now I'm all cleaned out, my "fluffs" don't even stink LOL. Still no strong contractions  I'm disappointed, everything I've read said that labor will start shortly after the body "cleans itself out". There had been no changes in my diet. I'll keep you updated if labor starts soon though :winkwink:

I have had them for about 6 weeks. No baby yet.

I was told I wouldn't go over due with DS1 he was 13 days over.

I've had this for weeks. Midwife said at my 36 week app that she might not be seeing me again. I'm 40 weeks Saturday so didnt quite get it right. There really is no way to tell. Some people have symptoms for weeks (and weeks and weeks!!), others have little to no symptoms and go into labour without warning.
