Hi all,

I'm just looking for some general feedback / advice.

I lost my first son when he was six months old (that will be 7 years ago on Friday) and we recently lost our daughter last April aged 19 hours old. We've recently found out we're expecting again (I'll be 12 weeks next week :D) However, as understandable as I know it is, I am absolutely petrified. I don't know whether I'm not allowing myself to connect with the pregnancy but I just don't feel pregnant, I just feel fat and like I'm going to wake up from a very real dream very soon!!

I have my scan booked for next week and I'm hoping this is going to change everything completely, however, I'm just wondering if there is anyone out there whose been through similar or ever felt like this?! I just feel completely out on a limb on my own.

Amie :flower:

I haven't been through the same but wanted to wish you a big congratulations on your pregnancy and that it would be a happy and healthy 9 months with a perfectly healthy rainbow at the end.

I'm so sorry to hear about your little baby angels. Sounds like you've already been through so much. :hugs:

Ah, what a horrendous thing to have to go through. I haven't experiences losses like that. I did have 2 mc's prior to having my daughter, and another since, however, so I understand how terrifying this must feel for you.

Fingers crossed all goes well, and hopefully you will have the support you need from friends and family (as well as these forums) to see you through. Best wishes :hugs:

Hi,I lost my daughter to sids at 5 weeks 6 days November 12,i'm currently just over 5 weeks so I have no advice but im petrified so your not alone lots of love xx

Thanks guys.

I'm so nervous however, we've just has our first 12 week scan (I am officially 11 weeks and 5 days today!) and all is so far so good!! Our lil ones heart is beating away and it made my day!

Roll on 4 weeks when I get another scan and get to see my beaut again. Its so weird as a mum that that blurry, grey image on a screen can mean so much to you.x

Congrats on a good first scan. I hope the pregnancy continues on just as smoothly.
