4 days of strong positive opk 1st cycle on Clomid

I have taken clomid 50 mg 5-9 and i started testing on cd 10 well on cd 14 i got a regular positive opk and have had strong ones cd 15-16-17 but haven't notices a thermal shift so idk if i Oed yet or i might have and not showing on FF yet. I don't have pcos and Dr gave me clomid to help me get a stronger Ov, I usually O on cd 13-14 and have been for years. I guess i'm one of those by the book type but yet no BFP. Anyways wondering if clomid is delaying O or not as Dr was sure I would O on cd 14 but that weekend my sleep was influenced by work schedule and a birthday party(alcohol involved) Do u ladies have had this happen or know why it's happening. I've googled alot but still want ur personal opinion. I'm hoping i O soon as i do AI and it's hard to get the perfect timing but this cycle i have been pretty good as far as timing so hoping this will do the trick.

I was just wondering how things turned out for you. I'm on day 3 of positive OPKs, CD17. This is my first time normal and the rest of my stats read like yours. No thermal shift, etc.

I just wanted to say wow, ow crazy is that, right? Am on Clomid first time, same dosage, CD11 today, no +opk yes, so I am not sure how it's gonna be. Hope you'll figure it out!

I ended up Oing the day of 1st opk or second, then my thermal shift was so low that added to my confusion, Af arrived a few days late but didnt change my cycle much, this month i'm on 100 mg so fx i get my BFP. I didn't get a positive opk until this evening (was negative this morning) so i'm due to O soon (today or tomorrow) never been later then cd 15, going for U/S tomorrow so hopefully they can see what size follicle i have even if i do O by then.

if you already Ov on 50mg Clomid, I dont understand why you might want to double the dosage. You might run the risk of multiples or ovarian cysts due to hyperstimulation of ovaries. Make sure that you are monitored regularly on untrasound, just to be sure

They are, just had u/s and had 5-6 good size follicles measuring 17-23 so they offered trigger but refused (to expensive) and i O on my own anyway so it's should be any minute/day now. I am unexplained and they are just trying to boost my eggs, if no BFP they already said they will increase my dosage next month. They even checked for cysts so i'm clear on that also.

Thanks for the update. My temps have been kind of up and down but all within a little bit. I got a neg. opk today (but the test line was just slightly lighter than the control). I'm hoping it was a long/strong LH surge and my shift will come tomorrow. This is my first time around with Clomid so I have no idea what to expect. My DD was conceived with ease so it's frustrating that this time around is so much harder.

I am so glad that I found you all! I am new here and found you while googling this same thing. I am on my first round of clomid 50 mg day 5-9 and on CD 19,20, and now 21 I got a positive on my OPK, I go in for 21 day progesterone check today, I hope it is not too early ( my Dr knows about my + and still wants to test today) I am curious to see what my progesterone numbers show. I hope that it shows I already have , I am dreading the ttw already and ready NOW for the postive pregnancy test!!! Good luck to you all!

GL with ur bw, it will be to early as it should be 7dpo, but it will confirm that u haven't yet but will soon, see if they can do an u/s and see how many follicles and sizes, i O on cd 15 this month.

Thanks! I will check with them and see if they can do that today I am very anxious, we have been trying for 8 months with no luck! DH SA came back with no problems and this is my first clomid month, if it doesnt happen this month the Dr will do a HSG to check my tubes.... I really do not want to have to do that and we are ready for a baby but I truly believe that it is God's plan, I just need to learn patience

lol, I don't have any either!!! Just told my Dr that He went ahead and did the 21 day check and said that even if I just did it it would show up some, maybe we will restest next week. He said US were great but very expensive, If I wanted to do it then he would but he didn't think that at this point I needed to. I said no, not for now anyway We will wait and see, I hope to get my results tomorrow and not have to wait until Monday...here I go again with my patience problem!

Got my crosshairs today. Looks like I o'ed on Monday - according to FertilityFriend. BD'd 3 days prior and the day after (but not the day of ). Kind of jealous of you girls that are actually being monitored by doc. Mine wrote the prescription and said "see ya in a month." Fingers crossed that when I see him again I have happy news!

u can request to be monitored, I wasn't the first month cause i Oed on weekend and they dont have au/s tech on friday so thrusday would have been to early, but they did this month on cd 15 and that night I Oed.

I might do that next cycle if this one doesn't work out. I'd never even given it a thought until I researched some more and found that a lot of people were being monitored, especially since I haven't seemed to be Oing on my own since my m/c.

I am so impatient too! Good luck with everyones tww! This is the worst part! I get my results back today but I still had a + this am on my opk??? Who knows what will happen? I am just praying for positive results today! Pacanova, I am not really being monitored, I got the Rx and then came back in 21 days ( yesterday) for bloodwork. I asked yesterday but he said that he def could do it but I would have to come in every day( I do not live close) and it was quite expensive? I am going to do my dye test after my af comes....hopefully she doesn't! and then try one more month unmonitored, if still nothing I am going to go ahead and just do it. Baby dust to you all!!!
